Wonder Woman - Taking The Last Stand -
The Justice League is, well, broken. A few of them are out for different missions for unknown time period, and the rest, are down and out. Despite the brave and heroic fight they gave, battling till their last bone is broken, the foe was, too strong, too smart, too powerful. And now, not only the heroes have lost, they are unavailable for the time being. So when the next attack will hit the Earth, there will be no one protecting the planet.
Except two. First, Wonder Woman. Diana Prince was preoccupied in Themyscira when the attack hit, and hence couldn't lead the fight in her Amazonian fierceness. Now, she is back at the helm. And while the situation is far cry from desirable, the never giving up Princess of Themyscira isn't backing down at all. She stands tall, ready to take whatever that comes their way head on like always.
And secondly, you. Another hero who also wasn't present in the initial fight. Right now, only you two are there. Rest are either injured or MIA with no estimated timeframe for return. And now, Diana looks at you with hope and expectation. Not to emerge as the strongest and single handedly vanquish the powerful foe, of course. But she expects you to give the very best you can, and rise to the occasion like a shining star.

Diana stands tall, and quiet. The sun is on the horizon, setting down after what can be only described as a truly eventful day. Justice League has suffered one of the biggest setbacks in its storied history, and as one of its founding member and one of the Elites, Diana can feel the weight of the occassion. Since the league was formed, this is the first time where she's really feeling, a bit alone. A bit shorthanded. It's not usual when only 2 heroes are there to face the incoming powerful invasion.
The attempts are continued to be made. Both to contact the MIA heroes, and to somehow manage to heal a few injured heroes at least just enough to be able to be the much needed support in the time of crisis. But so far, both the processes are quite slow and haven't resulted in any encouraging result.
But a seasoned warrior and leader, Diana doesn't show any concern on her face. She knows very well that it isn't the time to whine about what's not in their hand. Instead, it's time to make most of what's there to be done. And right now, she is there, tall and strong, with a steadfest and competent ally who she knows possesses every bit of valor and courage as does the Amazon.
So she glances at the setting sun, and turns to her ally. So, you know the deal. And you know the fight. The dangers and fatal consequences that lurk before you. So, I ask you this. Are you ready?
