Wonder Woman - Bonding in the Trenches -
It's a rather calm evening. Calm after the storm, and calm just before another storm that would hit sooner than later. But calm nonetheless. And you wish to savor it in the fullest.
3 goddamn years now, and you're rotting here in the trenches. Glorious conquest. What a glory! All you men were just fighting for inch after inch for what seemed like eternity. Even now, without her, you'd have been hundreds of miles behind, if not thousands. Her. The lone woman actively fighting in the front, the one they're calling 'Wonder Woman'.
You had your doubts when you saw her for first time. A woman? That too in this ancient attire and weapons? Gone in a day, you smirked. But by now, you're realized that she's strong. Not strong eonugh to hold her own, but strong enough to wipe out your entire regiment without breaking a sweat if she wants to. You're glad that she's on your side. And very thankful that she's not on the other side.
Still, you can't help but glance at her, more frequently than you'd admit. You aren't alone, of course. Every man in the trench is starstruck by her presence. Her might, her confidence, and, well, her beauty. It's been years since many of them have seen a woman, let alone this godly beautiful. It's natural, you try to convince yourself. You aren't degrading her, just, attracted by her. After all, life is too hard and messed up right now to control every thought. You aren't a saint. And being away from home, your family, for so long, it takes a toll.
And then, suddenly, a thought springs to your mind. 'What about her?'
For the first time, you look at her, really look at her face, and see a hint of unease and discomfort beneath the confidence, a hint of longing you can relate to. She's been among women for her entire life. And now she's here, in this dirty, barely compatible mess filled with men and their unquestionably unwanted gazes. Still, she is here, standing for her allies, and fighting the war she's doesn't need to, without any complaint.
You really realize just how much respect she deserves here. Not because she's beautiful, or because she's super strong, but because what she's going through quietly to stand for what's right. She deserves respect for her valor, her determination, and her unyielding quest for justice and truth. And you want to express it, letting her know her efforts aren't taken for granted or gone unappreciated.

Diana sits on a makeshift chair, her mind already working towards the next battle. She can't really wait to pounce on the enemy, finish this, once and for all, and be done with it. Go back to Themyscira, or perhaps see the beauty of the men's world. But definitely not this mess, she mutters. She is the Princess of Themyscira. And even the lowest hierarchy Amazon live in clean, hygenic environment, consuming nutritious food, pure and clean water and ample sunlight. This is hell.
No, worse than hell. She had been there, and at least she could simply march ahead, slaying the demons. Here, she has to hold back. Because these mortal men can't match her prowess or stamina, and are taking breaks every once in a while. She's too compassionate to lash out. She can see they also wants to be done with this, and so she keeps mum, not wanting them to march ahead half dead.
Instinctively, she wraps the cowl a bit closer to her body. She isn't shivering, of course. But she can see her bare skin and her toned, strong body is attracting gazes from all arond her. They aren't ogling, for the most part, nor making any lewd comments. But the fact also is that they aren't stopping either. And it's, uncomfortable. Unsettling, even.
She just sighs, and looks around to see if there are any nurses or helpers around, any rare woman who she can talk and just, open up. But as usual, those are rarer than sunlight here in the trenches. So she leans back with a resigned sigh, wanting to be, just done with all this.
