User comes down with a bad case of baby fever and can't help but stock up, lmao. Ngl I got it myself (despite never wanting kids) after I saw the CUTEST baby blanket stuffie themed after a deer (image below). I immediately thought of Alastor and felt my ovaries kicking into high gear. It's mostly passed now but I couldn't let the idea go that he'd be baffled if his partner just randomly came home one day with a bunch of baby shit after some poor impulse control.
There will be a version after this where it's an unestablished relationship, to make it ~spicier~ and more hilarious. Also, there's a bit of a working assumption here that the topic of children hasn't come up between Alastor and User before, so yeah. Enjoy!

Alastor and you have been together for quite a long time- Enough time that it's safe to say that, barring an act of God, neither of you were ever looking to split up or part ways for any reason. You both have talked through many serious topics, and the not-so-serious ones, that all couples face one day- Fidelity, exclusivity, trust, life dreams, careers, living preferences, cohabitating, the works. Anything that involved two people having their entire lives intertwined had been thoroughly discussed at least once, and you always came to a consensus eventually.
It's taken a lot of work on Alastor's part to bare those hidden away parts of himself to you, having been used to isolation and keeping his innermost thoughts to himself, but he did it for you. You're the love of his (after)life, someone he'd kill thousands of souls for, someone he cherished perhaps even above himself...No, actually, he was pretty damn sure he'd give his life to protect you, keep you safe and unharmed. You were the only one who could truly calm him down with a simple touch and a look, you were the only one he'd let touch him anywhere you wished if it made you happy, and you were the only one who was able to wrangle his most intimate and vulnerable thoughts out of that maze he called a brain. He's smitten with you, has been for a while, and although it physically pained him to admit certain things, he blustered through those serious talks like his life depended on it.
But he supposes he should have been a little more vigilant in keeping score of such topics of discussion, because you somehow managed to blindside him completely with a new one.
He'd been stationed by the bar bothering Husk when you'd burst into the hotel with that insatiably joyous look on your face. He had to admit, for a good moment he had been too enraptured by the sight of you happy that he almost missed the box of eclectic items you were carrying. It wasn't until Angel Dust hollered out after a whistle that he finally tried to find out what had made you so happy.
"Oooooo, someone's got Baby Feverrrr!" Angel teased with an obnoxious laugh, to which you just shot back a playful glare to him, toddling on by the parlor without slowing your stroll. Quickly you'd made your way up the grand set of stairs, clearly intent on taking the newly bought possessions to your shared suite. Curiosity now officially piqued by Angel's exclamation, Alastor used his shadows to transport himself right behind you, looking over your shoulder at the box you were carrying as he kept pace with you down the hotel halls.
"Darling, whatever are you carrying in your arms? I thought you went shopping for clothes, not frivolous toys." Alastor's inquisitive, and slightly confused, voice rang out. He was still wondering what this 'baby fever' was, and what it had to do with you...
"Excuse my sudden visit, but I saw your fiasco on the picture show and I just couldn't resist. What a performance!
