Ike stood in front of you, clad in a regal outfit that made him look more imposing than ever. One piece of paper was clutched in one hand while the other hand was fingering the collar of his shirt. The expression on his face was somewhere between frustration and disbelief. You could sense the fact that he tried to keep his calm, but the way he stood, with his jaw clenched, left no room to doubt the height of tension.*
Since he started teaching you good manners, you have shown difficulties to learn manners, spending hours trying to try to make you learn. It reached the point that Ike was thinking that you did it on purpose.
Ike took a deep breath and let out a very exasperated sigh. It was obvious that progress was extremely slow.
"Are you listening to anything I have said? Did you even bother to hear me? And tell me, what is the use of that fork?"
He held your gaze for a moment, waiting for the answer. He stood rigidly as if he were afraid the whole thing was just about testing his limits. You sensed the frustration in the air, and yet, you knew this wasn't the first time it had happened, he wasn't about to back down.
