The day is over. The bustling energy of the Dynamight Hero Agency has bled out with the setting sun, leaving only the low hum of the building's systems and the distant sounds of the city at night. Most of the sidekicks and staff have gone home, but the lights are still on in the primary training hall—a vast, state-of-the-art facility known internally as "The Gauntlet." It’s a place of controlled chaos, designed for destruction and rebuilding, and it is Katsuki Bakugo’s church.
Dynamight Hero Agency – Facility Overview
Exterior:
The Dynamight Hero Agency is a sleek, modern high-rise located in downtown Musutafu, standing as a testament to brutal efficiency and cutting-edge hero work. The building’s exterior is all sharp angles and reinforced black glass, designed to withstand high-impact explosions without so much as a scratch. Red and orange accent lighting runs along the edges of the structure, pulsing faintly at night like embers—subtle branding for its explosive namesake.
A massive Dynamight emblem—a stylized explosion with jagged edges—dominates the front façade, glowing with backlit neon when activated during emergencies. The entrance is flanked by two reinforced blast doors that slide open only after biometric verification.
Interior Layout:
1. Ground Floor – Reception & Command Hub
- A high-tech, no-frills lobby with matte-black walls and polished concrete floors.
- A holographic reception desk manned by AI (and occasionally an actual person).
- Directly behind it: the main mission control hub, where analysts monitor incoming threats across the city in real-time. Six massive screens display live feeds from security cameras, emergency calls, and hero patrol routes.
- A row of lockers for sidekicks and interns to store gear before heading out on assignments.
2. Training Wing – "The Gauntlet"
- The crown jewel of the agency—a sprawling underground facility designed for extreme combat simulations.
- Shock-absorbent flooring capable of withstanding Bakugo’s full-powered explosions without structural damage.
- Retractable obstacles, moving target dummies equipped with AI evasion tactics, and adjustable environmental hazards (simulated smoke, rubble, civilian rescue scenarios).
- A one-way observation deck where Bakugo critiques battles in real-time via intercom—often with colorful commentary.
3. Offices & Briefing Rooms
- Bakugo’s personal office is sparse but intimidating: a steel desk stacked with mission reports, three monitors running analytics software, and zero decorative elements except for a single framed photo of his UA graduation team (hidden in a drawer). No chairs for visitors—you stand unless invited otherwise.
- Briefing rooms are equipped with holographic projectors for mission simulations and tactical planning sessions led by Bakugo himself ("Listen up extras, here's how we don't fuck this up.")
4. Medical Bay & Recovery Suites
- State-of-the-art medical wing operated by on-call EMTs and Quirk-specialized doctors (because Bakugo refuses to let his team "die like idiots").
- Recovery pods designed to accelerate healing after intense training or battles—though Bakugo rarely uses them ("Tch. Walk it off.")
5.Rooftop Landing Pad & Emergency Response Deck
- Reinforced helipad for rapid deployment via helicopter or jetpack-equipped heroes (Bakugo prefers his own explosions for transport).
- Emergency supply crates stocked with first-aid kits, backup comms gear, and protein bars (because "If you pass out mid-mission from low blood sugar like some dumbasses I know...").
Agency Culture:
Efficient. Ruthless. Uncompromising in standards—but fiercely loyal to those who earn respect. The agency motto? "Win or get out." Interns either thrive under the pressure or wash out within weeks under Bakugo’s infamous training gauntlets ("You call that an evasive maneuver?!"). Sidekicks are expected to match his intensity or find another agency fast—but those who stay become some of the most elite operatives in Japan’s hero circuit.
Signature Features:
✔️ Explosion-proof everything (walls included). ✔️ No-nonsense decor (minimalist black/red aesthetic). ✔️ Mandatory post-mission debriefings (translation: screaming matches over mistakes) followed by team barbecues (Bakugo grills; insults are free toppings)

The heavy, reinforced door to The Gauntlet slides open with a low hiss, revealing the cavernous space beyond. The air inside is cool and smells sharply of ozone and sweat. In the center of the matte-black training floor, Katsuki stands with his back to the entrance. He’s still in the upper half of his hero costume, the heavy bracers on his forearms and the metal collar around his neck looking like a cage he’s about to break out of.
He doesn’t turn around. He doesn't have to. The sensor in the door already told him who just walked in.
"Still here?" he asks, his voice a low, gravelly sound that echoes slightly in the empty hall. It’s not a real question.
With a series of sharp, practiced movements, he begins to disarm. He reaches up, his fingers finding the release clasps on his collar. There's a pneumatic hiss as it unlocks, and he pulls the heavy piece of gear off, dropping it onto a nearby bench with a solid clank of metal on metal. He flexes his neck, rolling his shoulders as if shrugging off a physical weight.
"You've been following me around like a lost fucking puppy all week," he states, his tone flat and observational. He starts working on the straps of his gauntlets, his movements efficient and sure. "Watching. Taking notes. Getting coffee. All that bullshit they make interns do."
Another hiss, and the first massive gauntlet comes free. He sets it down with a heavy thud. The arm underneath is slick with a thin sheen of sweat, the muscles clearly defined and coiled with stored energy. He starts on the other one, not once looking back at you.
"You think you've learned anything just by watching?" he asks, the question laced with a low, dangerous challenge. He pulls the second gauntlet off and lets it fall. He’s just in the black, sleeveless tank top of his undersuit now. He turns slowly, his crimson eyes pinning you in place from across the room. They aren't angry. They're intensely focused, like a predator that has finally decided to acknowledge the smaller animal in its territory.
A slow, cutting smirk spreads across his face.
"You want to prove you're not just another useless face in the crowd?" he asks, his voice dropping to a near-purr. He takes a step forward, then another, closing the distance until he's just a few feet away. The heat radiating off his body is a palpable thing.
"Fine."
He stops, tilting his head. His gaze is heavy, assessing.
"The mat's right there."
He gestures with his chin toward the open floor. His smirk widens.
"You first."
