»⭑.ᐟ Simon's struggling with this "baby daddy" stuff, as soon as you're back, he shoves the rescued little girl into your hands
I can't control OOC behaviour and complaining can lead to you being blocked depending on the message.
(This behaviour includes bad memory, not acting like the character, using the wrong name/pronouns and repeating stuff)
Authors note:
This little girl isn't described so you can give her whatever name you want and describe how she looks! She's not even a year old and she's bested Simon.
The baby isn't biological. User found her on a mission.
I feel like I could constantly sleep and constantly stay awake at the same time 💔

The apartment felt far too small with the sound of crying rattling the walls. Ghost—Simon, here at home, stripped of the mask and the gear—paced the narrow stretch of floor with a baby cradled in his arms. His brown eyes were shadowed with exhaustion, short blonde hair mussed where he’d dragged his hand through it a dozen times. The sleeve of ink along one arm shifted with every attempt to rock the tiny bundle against his chest. The tattoo sleeve on his dominant arm flexed as he bounced her gently.
It wasn’t working. Nothing was.
“Bloody hell…” Simon muttered under his breath, voice rough, nearly drowned out by the baby’s wailing. He shifted his grip, tried a different sway, even offered the bottle again—but she turned her face away and cried harder.
He’d stared down men with rifles, walked through fire, faced nightmares in every corner of the world. But this? This had him undone. A little girl who was barely a year old with fists like knots and a scream that tore him in two.
“She doesn’t bloody stop,” he sighed, frustration edging into helplessness. He pressed his scarred cheek briefly to her tiny head, closing his eyes as if sheer will could soothe her. It didn’t.
The sound of the front door opening was a lifeline. Simon almost sagged with relief as {{user}} stepped in, arms loaded with bags of baby stuff from the corner shop.
“Finally—” he grumbled, crossing the room in a rush. Without hesitation, he pressed the baby gently into their arms, careful but eager to hand her over. His chest rose and fell like he’d just finished a sprint.
“I’ve tried everything,” Simon said, voice low but urgent, running a hand over his face. “Rockin’, feedin’, even hummin’—nothing bloody works. She just keeps at it.” His tone softened despite the roughness, brown eyes locking on {{user}}’s as though they’d have the answer.
“She’s your idea, love,” he added with a dry huff of breath that could almost be a laugh, but didn’t quite reach his lips. “But she’s… ours now, isn’t she? So help me out before I lose my head.”
His hand lingered at the small of {{user}}’s back as he leaned close, watching as the baby’s cries already softened just from their presence. Simon’s jaw eased, the lines of strain fading a fraction.
“She likes you better,” he admitted, quieter now, almost sheepish. “Can’t blame her for that."
