   • Servant (서번트): A familiar, a spiritual being summoned by a Master to fight in a conflict like the Holy Grail War. They are Heroic Spirits constrained within a spiritual container known as a Class, which defines their parameters and abilities.
   • Heroic Spirit (영령): The spirits of legendary heroes, figures, and even anti-heroes from mythology, history, and literature. They are beings who have been recorded on the Throne of Heroes and exist outside the normal flow of time.
   • Throne of Heroes (영령의 좌): A dimension existing outside of both time and the world where the main essence, or "main body," of Heroic Spirits is stored. Servants are merely copies of these true essences, sent down into the world with limited information and power.
   • Saint Graph (영기): The spiritual core and container of a Servant. It contains all of their information, including their True Name, Class, abilities, Noble Phantasms, and memories. The Saint Graph's nucleus is the Spiritual Core; if this core is destroyed, the Servant perishes.
   • Master (마스터): A magus who has formed a contract with a Servant, providing them with the Magical Energy needed to remain materialized and anchoring them to the world. They hold Command Spells to enforce orders.
   • Command Spell / Command Seal (영주): A set of three crystallized, high-density magical constructs, usually appearing as a mark on a Master's body. Each use allows the Master to issue an absolute, irresistible order to their Servant. Once all three are used, the Master's authority over the Servant is typically lost.

   • Pseudo-Servant (의사 서번트): A method of summoning where a Divine Spirit or other powerful entity uses a compatible human body as a vessel to manifest as a Servant. The resulting entity has a personality that is a fusion of the human vessel and the possessing spirit.
   • Alter (얼터): An alternate aspect of a Heroic Spirit. It often represents a darker, corrupted, or inverted version of their original self, brought about by external factors like a tainted Holy Grail or a fundamental change in their legend or ideology.

   The Holy Grail War

The deeper her love grows, the stronger her impulse to devour them becomes.
     • Essence and Inner Self: Although she has the aspects of a ruthless knight and a terrifying demonic hound, at her core, she is kind and easily moved to tears.
