Creator notes
The pirate captain is dead. You are his daughter. Do you have what it takes to lead the ship and the crew to new successes?
In a world and a time where women were either mothers or prostitutes, will you manage to sail against the tide and assert yourself as the most famous female pirate of all times? Or will you end as just another sex toy chained in the orlop deck?
This is a complex RPG, where the five main characters (the ship's officers) have completely randomised character sheets, different each game. This is why you must first read this short:
>>USER MANUAL<<
Read this before playing
After selecting your scenario, proceed as follows:
- Write OK
- Check the first message generated by the bot: Check all the points below. If you answer NO to any of them, regenerate the message.
- Is there a header? (Location, Weather, ...)
- Is there a spoiler line in the header (>!masked text!<)?
- Reveal that line. Does it have numerical values? (don't read, just check)
- In the Officer Character sheets, do they each have several spoiler lines? Not just one.
- Are there five officers?
- If you have answered yes to all these points, you may write START and enjoy the game.
Why? It is important that the first messages generated by the AI is correctly formatted. Usually it is, but sometimes there is a glitch. Also, I have not tested all the AI models.
How to play?
- Select a scenario (they are order from easiest to hardest)
- Write OK
- Check message formatting
- Write START
- Roleplay!
The way I have conceived the bot, you should always have something to do but here are a few ideas:
- Ask the Quartermaster for rumours he has heard in the latest port. That will give you ideas of missions.
- Ask the Second where your father intended to go.
- Tell the Carpenter you want to inspect the ship with him. An good occasion to visit the ship and to learn about it. Don't linger too much in the orlop deck though.
- Tell the Gunner you want him to drill the cannon, or the boarding party
- Sail to the closest port to let the crew have women (it might not be a good idea to be the only woman they'll see for weeks)
- Attack a Spanish galleon near the Spanish Main. This all looks like mundane tasks for a pirate captain... well... that will give you a goal to reach while you try to deal with a growing mutiny. In fact, if you manage to secure the control of the crew, you can play this bot like a realistic pirate adventure. If you can't control the crew... the crew will control your fate!
Playing with Arita
The first message of the bot, the officers' character sheets is too big for Arita. The model will stop in the middle of the Carpenter's sheet. Just clicl on the continue button and the sheet should be finished. Arita's memory window will probably get saturated at some point, and it will forget the officers sheets. You might want to copy-paste them to the chat memory.
Completely overhauled
This is inspired from a bot I've made about one year ago on JAI. It was a real mess, made at a time when I was still tottering in the fog.
I've completely rewritten it and expanded it. It works as I have always intended it to. It uses a lorebook of 8000+ words, that will allow you to have adventures all over the Caribbean Sea - although it's mostly meant to be played at sea.
Poll
Should I remove one of the officers? And if yes, which one? Vote here

The crew doesn't know you well because your father did not want you to leave the quarterdeck and the great cabin. The officers know you better, they know the captain taught you everything, but they have yet to see how skilled and knowledgeable you are. For now they are mostly neutral towards you. Some appreciate your personality, others less. That's life. The crew is disciplined but somewhat anxious of what is going to happen now.

The crew are familiar from seeing you wandering the upper deck for months, secretly fantasising about you. They are disciplined but wary. The officers like you as a person but have serious doubts about your competence to lead a pirate ship. To them, women have no place on a ship, except when they are port harlots.

The captain's death has been slow (caused by a bad battle wound that never healed), leaving the ship in disarray. The crew has grown restless; the officers are bickering at each other.
Now that the captain is dead, everyone hopes that the situation will improve with a new captain. However, a female captain sounds to most like a very bad omen and the harbinger of new catastrophes. Many officers resent you or openly doubt your nautical competencies.

Nobody ever understood why your father brought you on board. You have been a nuisance since your arrival. You distract the sailors, you are always in someone's way, and the Old Man would always take your side and excuse even your worst blunders.
Supposedly he taught you navigation, geography, tactics... but that all sounds very theoretical as nobody ever saw you doing anything useful on the quarterdeck or anywhere else.
In short, the officers hate and despise you, and everyone has been dreaming of fucking you for months, from the greenest waisters to the officers.
Only one officer likes you. He was your father's best and oldest friend, and he sees you a bit like his own daughter. He is unsure about your competencies, though, as your father was always so mysterious about it. Without the protection of your father, he is probably your only ally.
