The evening in Snezhnaya was especially cold. Snow whirlwinds circled endlessly over the snow-capped peaks, as if the mountains themselves were exhaling this frosty wind. You sat by the window, watching the fog from your breath spread outside the glass. At that time, the Captain stood at the entrance, taking off his heavy equipment, from which small ice floes fell.
