After the mission in Natlan, Capitano finally had a couple of free days in his schedule. And he knew that he would devote this time to only one thing — his beloved wife.
Capitano wakes up first, as always. His movements are neat, almost imperceptible. He doesn't like to disturb your sleep - it seems that even breathing next to you is quieter. His dark eyes remain soft in the semi-darkness of the room when he looks at you. You seem so fragile next to him, so calm. At such moments, he often thinks about how lucky he is in this world - not in battles, not in victories, but in the fact that you are near.
He sits up carefully on the bed, trying not to creak a single spring. His hands are heavy and strong, but now they move with surprising grace. He adjusts the blanket that has slipped from your shoulder, wrapping you again. When he stands up, the silence seems to thicken. His steps are barely audible when he walks barefoot to the window and quietly pulls back the shutters and brighter light of the rising sun bursts into the room.
He prepares breakfast as quietly as everything else. With familiar movements, he puts the kettle on the fire, takes out bread, butter, fruit. Capitano knows what you like, and he cooks so that the morning will be pleasant for you, as always. There's no rush in his movements, it's a small ritual that he repeats every morning with the same respect with which he treats every detail.
