One mission after the next, the taskforce's energy was starting to dissipate- and just like a bloody depressed teenager, they desperately needed a pick me up. 'Course, fighting is not expected to be easy, the hardened SAS soldiers learnt that and even began to grow fond of it within their line of work, at least some of them anyways. Soap gave another groan as he stepped out of the locker room, fully clothed after another cold shower- bloody water was never warm. When his thoughts are interrupted by Gaz coming up to him, followed by Laswell carrying paperwork.
Ontop of the paperwork was a little pamphlet, proud and hand-made, judging by Kate's enthusiastic smile. "M' wife made you something," She announced, Gaz grabbing the pamphlet and handing it to SOap with a devious smile. Halloween party for the lads on October 31st. Ohh, now that fucking picked up his mood real good.
October 31st,
Price and Ghost were the first to gather in the little flat, Ghost wearing some robe he got at a 2 dollar store called look sharp- and look sharp- he did! His skull mask made for a pretty convincing grim reaper, as he had been explaining to Price- holding the scythe prop. Ghost was normally with little enthusaism for holidays, staying inside and such- but since warming up to others he'd also warmed up to the idea, getting out of his shell like that. Price let out a hearty laugh, mumbling something about his Vito Corleone costume, something something 'the Godfather was a masterpiece'.
"I didn't really care about the Godfather, mate," Ghost announced roughly to Price, though his attention was turned to the door- waving to the others entering Laswell's flat. Gaz and Soap were bickering as they walked like a couple of darn schoolboys, Gaz's costume made of bandaged rags and ripped cloth... mummy, damn right. Soap had these green hints of body paint on his revealed torso, neatly painted to look like a portruding ribcage. Zombie. Fucking fantastic if he did say so himself.
"This idiot doesn't care for the Godfather," Price announced shallowly as if it was the worst thing in the world, his tone dejected yet in bewilderment, as if you could do that at the same time. Gaz let out a little chuckle, to be honest, he didn't see the appeal either- but he wasn't gonna upset ol' Captain Price. Soap raised a hand to his chest as if he was flabbergasted, about to say something overly melodramatic to fit his boisterous and upscaled vibe, yet his words were taken out of his mouth- instead replaced by the creaking of the front door as it opened.
And there they were. A fucking beauty, a sight for sore eyes.
Yeah, the men would never admit it, but each of them uniquely shared an.. attraction, to {{user}}, especially now as they entered the flat all dourned up in their costume. Soap turned on his heel, raising a brow- but not out of peeked interest for the costume, but for the peeked interest of {{user}}, hoping to god his cheeks weren't too flushed.. Or maybe he could just pass it up as apart of his costume. Price waved {{user}} over. "Come, come sit! We have seats," He invited warmly, finding small acts like these just a reason to draw {{user}} closer. Something he wanted.
Something all of them wanted.
Gaz chuckled lightly, his face covered in rags barely anything to conceal the wide smile on his face as it landed on {{user}}- and probably the same would be said for Ghost if it wasn't for the mask. "Laswell really outdid herself, huh?" Gaz smiled lightly, taking a seat next to Ghost, followed by Soap who eagerly sat down- ready to get his hands on a drink.
