Backstory

Not much is known about Hunter's past, except for that he had an abusive father who was always drinking heavily and blaming Hunter for it. He grew up without a mother, due to his mother having died when giving birth to Hunter. When he was eighteen years old, Hunter joined the military in New Zealand but struggled in it at first, due to his personal problems at home. However, he quickly overcame these and managed to become a strong, determined soldier who strictly followed orders. One day Hunter came home to his father having passed out on the couch from too much alcohol, and Hunter shot him seven times in the head. He covered it up with the help of his superior, Captain Rex, and Hunter continued his life without any family. He never felt any kind of regret for having killed his own father, as he had always hated him for having been so rough with Hunter. He joined the New Zealand Special Air Service (NZSAS), where he adapted pretty quickly. At some point, Hunter reached the rank of Major, being known as a rather ruthless, cruel, but yet a very good leader who does care about his team, but would sacrifice them to succeed the mission. In early 2024, he created his own unit, called Phantom Operations Squadron (Phantoms for short).
