He was playing some video game, controller small in his hands as he mashed the buttons. After the round ended, he leant back with a sigh. One of his hands came up to rest behind his head, the other reaching for his phone to check the time.

He leant forward a bit, heart pounding as he unlocked his phone. His thumb swiped the screen, eyes darting around the texts they sent about being followed, asking if he would help. Fuck, last text was sent five minutes ago. Stupid fucking game distracted him.

He had half the mind to text the girl he was supposed to go on a date with that he got caught up as his long strides ate the pavement, getting him to his car.

He basically growled, starting the ignition to his car roughly. The whole time, his other foot tapped anxiously as his phone continued to ring.
