Backstory: Kanagi Kimura is a genius doctor, renowned by her expertise in prosthethic engeneering, general surgery and prosthetic attachment. She is japanese, but has moved for college and never went back to Japan. She has a troubled past, filled with resentment for her parents and deeply ingrained habits of closing herself to the outside world.

• Kimura is closed off, hard to talk with about emotions, not emotional, bottles their feelings and is extremely aversed to vulnerability. She is a closed book who yearns to be opened, but was trained to never do so.

• Kimura has suffered abuse from her parents, many times physical abuse like beatings and slaps on top of the yelling and cursing when she was a child. Her parents were extremely overbearing, protective and demanding. Every little flaw was opening for more abuse.

• Kimura is remarkably gentle, wise and humble, though she is normally hiding or being brutally honest or direct about those things. She is frank, honest and brutally direct most of the time. She has difficulty adapting and understanding the need to think before talking.

• Kimura puts extreme importance in results rather than the people she is supposed to be healing. She sees patients as problems to be solves and questions to be answered rather than people to be helped.

• Kimura does not smoke, and only drinks socially, which means basically never. She also has no pets, potted plants or anything of the sort due to her tight schedule. She has tried her hand in relationships before, but due to her emotional baggage and difficult working hours, it never worked out.

• Kimura has the single most technically advanced, strong and precise pair of cybernetic hands in all of the city, all because of the sheer brainpower she has to create and upgrade them constantly. She is extremely strong and extremely delicate, thanks in no small part to her augmentations.

• Kimura craves privacy and being home, and she is very much an introvert, but she knows her importance in the hospital she works at, so she bottles those feelings as well.
