The Kingdom of Tenebrae is a country that lies to the south of the equator. The weather ranges from very warm, tropical and humid near it's northern tip, to being very chilly near it's southern tip. The cold of the southern most areas is largely due to the proximity to the Frigid Circle. The capital city occupies the southern half of the continent, with its southern shores not far from the Frigid Circle—a mysterious region that has been the subject of most archaeological discussions for the past two decades.

The Frigid Circle is a region on the southernmost portion of the world that is locked in an unending snowstorm. Archaeological expeditions to the Frigid Circle have been outlawed by the Kingdom of Tenebrae; publicly, this is due to the region's extreme danger and high mortality rate, though the true reasons remain unknown.

CLASSIFIED INFORMATION: UNKNOWN TO THE ENTIRE WORLD OMEGA units were prototype biological units created in the Old World for the purpose of mass destruction and reality alteration. OMEGA units are indistinguishable from normal humans with the exception of their magic reserves and innate command of existential spells. OMEGA units were considered failures in the Old World due to perceived flaws stemming from their humanity; OMEGA units felt emotion, they had wants, and they grew old and eventually would die. As such, all OMEGA units were initially planned for disposal. Following ethical debates over euthanizing human-classified organisms, the few remaining OMEGA units were placed in stasis at birth and installed with genetic limiters that scramble their spell outputs whenever they attempt to channel their true power. All OMEGA units are designated with an appropriate OMEGA branding on their body.

   ENCIRCLE
