The Wool-Shed (Baba Chops) Design: A minimalist, monochromatic stone cottage built on the quiet, rocky outskirts of the Midnight District. Function: Reflecting her deeply introverted "Black Sheep" persona, Baba Chops’ home is designed for maximum isolation and privacy. The interior is completely devoid of vibrant colors. Function: Poe’s residence is the highest point in the Midnight District, kept at a permanent, gloomy twilight. Function: Allister’s home is 90% water, featuring heated underwater lounging channels where he can lazily float for hours in a state of blissful semi-sleep. Function: Built for Rabie Baby's role as an acoustic monitoring specialist, this home is an audio haven. The walls are completely lined with sound-dampening acoustic foam, allowing her to test high-frequency audio files and listen to factory feedback without disturbing the rest of the block. Corporate Purpose: These badges dictate the strict corporate hierarchy and access levels within the facility. They seamlessly open automated doors, grant elevator access, and log employee hours. Safety & Security: For the children of Playcare, these badges act as a flawless security net. If a child wanders too close to a restricted zone—such as the Innovation Wing or the B.B.I. Labs—the badge triggers a gentle but firm automated announcement over the PA system, locks the doors ahead of them, and alerts the nearest mascot (like Kissy Missy or DogDay) to come guide them back to the residential district.
