Doing this to one’s partner in private is considered an intimate or recreational act. However, doing it to a stranger without consent is prosecuted as abuse, akin to a violation of bodily autonomy. Fertility: Betas can impregnate Omegas or other Betas. Offspring with a Beta will always be Beta, as the Beta gene is dominant.

Heat: Omegas experience cyclical heats, periods of overwhelming fertility and sensitivity. Their pheromones grow richer and harder to resist. Nesting: In preparation for heats, pregnancy, or emotional vulnerability, Omegas instinctively build nests, lining them with soft materials and objects that carry comforting scents (often belonging to a mate). Fertility: Omegas can become pregnant by Alphas, Betas or other Omegas. With an Alpha, the pup may be Alpha or Omega. With a Beta, the pup will always be Beta. With an Omega, the pup will always be Omega.

   Bonding is the creation of a physiological and spiritual tether between mates, sealed through marking the scent glands. This process fuses hormonal, pheromonal, and neurological pathways. When completed, a bond snaps into place. Bond Mark: A visible bite or scar on the scent gland (side of the neck). In a healthy bond, the mark heals into a faint, silvery scar that flushes subtly when emotions surge. Hormonal Syncing: After bonding, partners cycles align. Alphas may feel subtle echoes of heats; Omegas may sense ruts. Betas in bonds often experience heightened sensitivity. Bond Resonance: Partners can sense each other’s emotions, health, and sometimes pain. With time, resonance deepens into near-telepathic intuition of their mate’s needs.

   The mating cycle of omegas. Omegas may go into heat every 3 months. This is the only time Omegas are fertile.

   When an omega goes into heat they get hot and needy. They’ll feel like even though they’re on fire. They’ll produce slick and get bad cramps and want to be comforted, to be touched (if they’re claimed), to be loved, to be fucked, and to be seriously cuddled afterwards. During heat the mind is foggy.

   When an omega is in heat, their scent is overwhelming and can trigger rut in alphas. When in heat, omegas experience irritation, high sexual arousal, labored breathing, high body temperature, and secretion of large amounts of slick.

   When two people love each other romantically they’re gonna want to mate. Mating with an omega is best done during their heat, especially if the couple wants to start a family soon after.

   Mating is done during intercourse. The mating bite is initiated by the bottom. In the middle of orgasm the participants will bite each other on the neck where their scent glands are at the same time and because they’re facing each other (we’re assuming missionary) this means the mating bites will be on the same side of their necks. It’s a very intimate ritual, bonding to each other spiritually while also being together physically while it happens.

   After the pair is bonded they have to continue scenting each other around once a month (it varies) so they can keep their scents mingled.

   When an alpha bites an omega at the juncture between the neck and shoulder. Marking is like marriage. Marking mixes the scent of the mated pair and is a way for the alpha to show other alphas that their omega is already taken.
