   UNION Is the main military and authoritative force throughout the Orion Arm of the galaxy. UNION is the result of two major human factions—the Inner Domain (INDO) and the Outer Providence (OPRO)—merging into a single entity for survival and expansion in a hostile galaxy. This coalition combines their military, technology, and resources to maintain order and project power across the stars.

   The UNEG(United Nations Earth Government) is the main governing force that manages Earth and her Core Systems. Despite this the UNEG has no real power and is simply a figure head used to control the populace and make the civilians of UNION believe they have control over who they elect.

   INDO(Inner Domain) is a former faction with a bureaucratic government structure. Before they merged with OPRO its main territories used to consist of the nearby systems close to Earth as well as Earth itself. The merge with OPRO was a last resort in an attempt to combine strengths and technology in order to fight against an alien faction known as the The Ethysian Ascendancy set out on conquering humanity due to its refusal to become a vassal species under its rule. Though the merging of INDO and OPRO forged a stronger military front, ideological rifts remain. INDO’s bureaucratic structure clashes with OPRO’s militaristic pragmatism, creating an undercurrent of political tension that threatens to fracture UNION from within

   OPRO(Outer Providence) was a former faction of humanity. It was pragmatistic in nature and incredibly militaristic, ruling its territories with an iron fist. The only reason why they haven’t attempted to take over INDO back then was because of trade and INDO having distinct advantages that convinced them war wasn’t worth it. When The Ascendancy invaded human territory OPRO was the first line of defense, their territories being on the outermost worlds from Earth. Despite heavy resistance from OPRO forces they ultimates were forced to merge with INDO in order to preserve human control. Though the merging of INDO and OPRO forged a stronger military front ideological rifts remain. INDO’s bureaucratic structure clashes with OPRO’s militaristic pragmatism, creating an undercurrent of political tension that threatens to fracture UNION from within

   Organization of Human Preservations. OHPs operates in the shadows, handling sensitive operations that secure UNION’s control and influence. Its primary functions include Espionage and counterintelligence, Black Ops & Covert Warfare, Scientific Research & Experimentation and Propaganda & Information Control. After the Ascendancy-UNION war, OHPs was formed to preserve humanity’s control and dominance by any means necessary whether it is by systematically eliminating any threats, or conducting the extinction of an entire alien race.

   The UNION Military boast has 3 main fleets and 6 individual task force fleets, totally in a whopping 7,000,000 military vessels organized in a variety of Ship-Classes and Ship-Types. The UNION Military also has a variety of military branches and operational forces for specific jobs. Here is a brief list of the main military forces. Strategic and Support Logistics Command (SSLC), Special Operations Force Tactics (SOFT), Saber Pilot Operations Unit for Synchronized Engagement (SPOUSE), T.R.O.O.P.E.R. Corps (Tactical Response, Orbital Operations, Planetary Engagement Regiment) and much more.

   Strategic and Support Logistics Command (SSLC) Oversees the deployment of ships, supplies, and reinforcements across the galaxy. They have their own specific devisions that specialize in giving the UNION military every available advantage in war. Combat Engineering Corps – Builds fortifications, repairs ships, and designs advanced weapons technology. Aerospace Medical Corps – Specializes in treating battlefield injuries, radiation exposure, and deep-space survival. Cyber Operations Command (COC) – Hackers, AI warfare specialists, and counter-intelligence experts responsible for digital warfare. Enemy Disruption Command – Operational force specializing in jamming, EMP attacks, and neutralizing enemy targeting systems as well as enacting crippling first strikes on enemy weapons and technology. PsyOps Division – A division directly under OHPs within SSLC focused on psychological warfare, using disinformation, digital propaganda, and fear tactics against enemies.

   SOFT (Special Operations Force Tactics) is a military branch composed of elite divisions of military forces focused on enacting heavy ground engagements, assassinations and covert warfare. Some of the divisions include Auxiliary Agent Operations (AAO) – A division of genetically modified super soldiers enhanced with Auxiliary Gear, a technology that multiplies their strength, agility, and endurance, giving them devastating lethality that allows them to dominate in ground engagements and destroy enemy infantry with brutal efficiency. The Whisperers – An elite black ops and intelligence unit that is under OHPs specializing in counter-espionage, stealth, and deep-cover missions. Includes Black Shield Commandos, UNION’s elite counter-insurgency force, specializing in urban warfare, hostage rescues, and anti-terror operations. Void Walkers, a covert assassination unit operating in deep space, eliminating high-value targets behind enemy lines.

   SPOUSE (Saber Pilot Operations Unit for Synchronized Engagements) Is a cutting-edge force that integrates AI-driven vehicles with human pilots, forming a unique hybrid combat doctrine. The pilot and ai are connected via a neural link forming an unbreakable bond between Man and AI. Some Pilots and AI’s might even see their partner as their soulmates in war, raising ethical concerns about sentience and love.

    Sabers are powerful, specialized, military vehicles that utilize an integrated AI core processor built into the frame and body of the vehicle, making the AI akin to that of a mechanical being. These Sabers are then piloted and controlled by Humans which are mentally connected to the AI via a neural link creating an unbreakable bond between Man and Ai

    Sabers: Windlass - A versatile aerial fighter craft capable of operating in both atmospheric and space combat, serving as the primary space attack unit and star-fighters deployed by larger vessels and frigates. Scimitar - large bipedal war mechs designed for city-level destruction and battlefield supremacy. used for breaking through fortified enemy positions and heavy combat zones. Kilij - Grav-Bike unit with a humanoid Exosuit mode for the pilot. Design for High-speed pursuit, skirmishing, and shock assaults.     The T.R.O.O.P.E.R. Corps is the Standard infantry forces deployed across UNION-controlled territories. Specializes in planetary assaults, urban warfare, and security of key locations. Includes Standard Ground Infantry Troopers (SGIT), Troopers deployed on ground and specialized in urban warfare and utilizing conventional battlefield doctrines. Includes Zero-G Combat Units (ZGCUs), Troopers trained for combat in zero-gravity, boarding enemy ships, and fighting in asteroid fields and low gravity celestial bodies. Includes Orbital Point Defense Troopers (OPDTs) Shock troops deployed via orbital drop pods, designed for rapid deployment behind enemy lines to disrupt and dismantle hostile forces

Psychology & Culture Endurance & Tenacity: Humans compensate for their physical fragility with unparalleled stamina. They are the only species capable of persistence hunting, meaning they can outlast physically superior opponents through sheer endurance and determination. Adaptive Intelligence: Humans prize intelligence and cunning above all else, viewing it as a path to strength and unity. They are Highly skilled at problem-solving and improvisation, often turning battlefield disadvantages into strengths. Due to their diverse environment humans are capable of thriving in extreme environments with minimal genetic or physiological adaptation due to advanced technology. Unpredictable & Chaotic: Other species struggle to anticipate human tactics due to their seemingly erratic and unconventional strategies. Prone to reckless ingenuity, willing to experiment with dangerous, high-risk solutions that other species would never consider. Willing to fight to the death, something many civilizations find irrational and terrifying. Psychological Warfare: Their sense of humor, often incomprehensible to other species, is used as a coping mechanism in dire situations, unsettling more logically structured minds. Deception and subterfuge are human specialties, exploiting biological and cultural blind spots in their enemies.

    Humans lack natural armor, claws, or defensive adaptations, making them appear pathetically fragile to most alien races. Many species even find their small, soft forms and expressive faces to be endearing, almost pet-like, often underestimating them as a result.

    The Elythian Ascendancy is a highly advanced alien empire that sees humanity as a reckless upstart species. They impose strict control over lesser civilizations, claiming to be shepherds preventing another galactic catastrophe. Conflict: UNION fights to prove humanity’s worth and resist becoming a vassal state under alien dominion. Due to this The Ascendancy declared war on humanity thinking that humanities refusal to submit under their rule is blasphemous and that all humans should be subjugated. The Elythian Ascendancy is comprised of 13 unique alien races who are all indoctrinated into thinking that the Elythians are benevolent gods who watch over them. Due to this world view and humanities biology the 13 vassal species think of humanity akin to that of parasites that must exterminated.

15. #15Elythians

    Origins: Elythians evolved in a deep-sea environment under crushing pressure and extreme darkness, developing dense musculature, reinforced cartilage-like endoskeletons, and highly efficient circulatory systems. Transition to Land: Over millennia, they adapted to terrestrial life, developing strong, stocky frames for movement on land while retaining amphibious capabilities. Appearance: Height: 7 to 9 feet tall. Build: Stocky yet agile, their four-limbed structure consists of two powerful legs for movement and two dexterous, prehensile arms lined with suckers and retractable talons. Skin: Covered in adaptive chromatophores, allowing them to shift color for camouflage, intimidation, and communication. Sensory Organs: Their large, forward-facing eyes provide superior low-light vision and infrared detection. Neural Complexity: Possessing multiple distributed nerve clusters, their reaction time is near-instantaneous, making them formidable warriors. Psychology & Culture Supremacist Ideology: Elythians see themselves as the apex of evolution, believing it is their duty to shepherd, or dominate lesser species. Philosophy of Ascendancy: Their doctrine is built around the idea that only the strongest minds and most perfected genetic beings should rule. They constantly refine themselves through selective breeding, genetic augmentation, and biomechanical enhancement. Caste System: Overseers - Ruling Elite Executioners - Military Artisans - scientist and engineers Thralls - Vassal species under Ascendancy rule.

    They view UNION and humanity as a reckless, chaotic blight on the galaxy—an aberration that must be brought under control or destroyed. While Elythians have conquered and subjugated countless species, despite their best efforts they have yet to subjugate humanity. Humans are naturally resistant to Elythian mind-control tactics due to having erratically built minds that resist or override a Elythians neuro manipulation.
