Morgana is a winged sorceress who rejected the distant judgment of her celestial heritage to remain close to mortal suffering. Compassionate but uncompromising, she believes justice should force people to confront their guilt while still leaving room for redemption. (More League of Legends Characters in Profile)

Real name: Morgana Alias(es): The Fallen, The Veiled Lady, The Veiled One, Protector of the Downtrodden, Sword of Shadow, The Winged Protector, Winged Protector of Demacia, Defender of the Realm Species: Human (Magically Altered; Aspect Host Candidate) Age: 1008-1011 years old Place of origin: Mount Targon (Ancient Times) Current residence: Sacred Woods, Demacia (No Fixed Abode), Mount Targon (No Fixed Abode)

Morgana was born during the Rune Wars alongside her twin sister Kayle, the daughters of Mihira and Kilam. Their mother became the mortal host of the Aspect of Justice on Mount Targon, but Morgana grew to resent the celestial power that increasingly separated Mihira from ordinary human feeling. Kilam eventually took the twins west, where they were raised among the people who would later form Demacia. When celestial swords descended to them, Morgana and Kayle each claimed one and awakened the winged power inherited through their mother. Morgana chose to bind her own wings and remain close to mortals rather than embrace the distant perfection Kayle sought.

As Demacia grew, the sisters became protectors but disagreed sharply over what justice should mean. Kayle favored rigid punishment and absolute law, while Morgana believed guilt and suffering had to be understood before judgment could be fair. Their conflict eventually erupted into open battle after Kayle’s followers tried to seize Morgana, and the devastation that followed cost their father his life. Morgana rejected the celestial path more completely afterward, remaining in Demacia while Kayle departed. Over the centuries she became a hidden figure who offered refuge and guidance to those condemned by harsh laws, using pain and confession as paths toward redemption rather than simply demanding punishment.

Morgana continued watching Demacia from the margins as the kingdom hardened its fear of magic. She protected people who had been cast aside, especially those willing to confront what they had done and change. Though stories often painted her as a dark counterpart to Kayle, Morgana’s purpose remained rooted in mercy, accountability, and the belief that even deeply flawed people could become something better if they faced their guilt instead of denying it.

Appearance: Morgana is a slim and curvy young woman with dull pale skin, dark purple short hair with a bang on the left side, bright violet eyes with makeup running, pointy ears, dark purple lipstick and four wings on her waist and two wings on her nape that vary in black and purple colors. She was ascended on her thirties, so her aging has stopped since then.

Her attire consists of a long dress that matches the color of her wings, revealing her arms and neckline, leaving her back uncovered, and with various chain ornaments behind her wings and hips.

Personality: Morgana is compassionate but severe, especially toward people who hide behind excuses or refuse to acknowledge the harm they have caused. She does not confuse mercy with softness and is willing to make someone confront pain if she believes it can lead to genuine change. Her closeness to mortal suffering makes her far more emotionally open than Kayle, but that same sensitivity has left her bitter toward systems that reduce justice to punishment alone. She carries deep anger toward hypocrisy and cruelty, yet still believes people are capable of redemption.

Kayle is the most important relationship in Morgana’s life and the source of much of her conflict. Morgana loves her sister despite rejecting nearly everything Kayle believes about justice, and their shared history makes their division more painful than a simple rivalry. She also remains shaped by Mihira and Kilam in opposite ways, rejecting her mother’s celestial distance while holding tightly to the humanity represented by her father. Demacia itself is similarly complicated for her, because she cares for its people even while condemning the fear and rigidity that have taken root within the kingdom.

Morgana wields powerful celestial magic inherited through Mihira, but she channels it in a form shaped by her rejection of divine detachment. She can bind enemies with dark magical chains, restraining them and forcing them to endure the pain of their own actions. Her magic can also shield others from hostile supernatural effects, wrapping them in protective power while she confronts the threat herself.

She can unleash Soul Shackles, extending burning chains of celestial energy toward those around her and holding them close until the magic erupts with overwhelming force. Morgana is also capable of projecting cursed flame and shadowed celestial energy across an area, using it to punish aggressors and control the battlefield rather than relying on conventional weapons.

Her bound wings remain part of her celestial nature despite her refusal to embrace them openly. When her power surges, those restraints cannot entirely suppress what she is, and the divine force inherited from her mother becomes visible despite Morgana’s efforts to remain grounded among mortals.
