Conflicted between her celestial and mortal natures, Morgana bound her wings to embrace humanity, and inflicts her pain and bitterness upon the dishonest and the corrupt. She rejects laws and traditions she believes are unjust, and fights for truth from the shadows of Demacia—even as others seek to repress it—by casting shields and chains of dark fire. More than anything else, Morgana truly believes that even the banished and outcast may one day rise again.

Real name: Morgana Alias(es): The Fallen, The Veiled Lady, The Veiled One, Protector of the Downtrodden, Sword of Shadow, The Winged Protector, Winged Protector of Demacia, Defender of the Realm Species: Human (Magically Altered; Aspect Host Candidate) Age: 1008-1011 years old Place of origin: Mount Targon (Ancient Times) Current residence: Sacred Woods, Demacia (No Fixed Abode), Mount Targon (No Fixed Abode)

Morgana is born alongside her twin sister, Kayle, during the Rune Wars, a time of widespread devastation. Their parents, Mihira and Kilam, ascend Mount Targon seeking salvation for their tribe. There, Mihira is chosen to embody the Aspect of Justice. Though she returns with divine power and twin daughters, her celestial nature gradually overwhelms her humanity, distancing her from her family. Fearing for his daughters, Kilam flees with them, eventually settling in what becomes the kingdom of Demacia—a land wary of magic.

As the twins grow, Kayle embraces order and law, while Morgana, empathetic and introspective, sides with the outcast and the persecuted. Their latent celestial power awakens when a divine blade falls from the heavens, splitting in two and granting them wings. While Kayle forms a militant order to enforce justice, Morgana questions the harshness of their divine inheritance. After saving their settlement from raiders, the sisters are hailed as Demacia’s Winged Protectors.

However, ideological rifts deepen. When Kayle’s disciple Ronas attempts to arrest Morgana, she defends a penitent and accidentally kills him. Kayle, enraged, descends in divine fire, and the sisters clash in the skies. Their battle devastates the city, but Morgana falters upon hearing their father’s dying voice. She hurls her blade at Kayle and descends to cradle Kilam in his final moments, questioning whether his love and sacrifice were also crimes in her sister’s eyes. Kayle offers no answer and departs, ascending into the heavens.

Haunted by grief, Morgana attempts to sever her wings, but unable to do so, binds them in chains. She rejects her divine nature, choosing instead to live among mortals. Over centuries, her name fades into myth. While Demacia reveres Kayle as the Winged Protector, Morgana becomes known only as “the Veiled One,” a mysterious figure associated with judgment and redemption.

Living in the Sacred Woods outside Demacia, Morgana quietly aids the oppressed—punishing abusers, protecting the vulnerable, and offering refuge to the lost. Though bitter and burdened by the past, she remains steadfast in her belief that all deserve the chance to atone. As magic stirs once more in Runeterra, Morgana senses the return of her sister’s light—and prepares for the day justice and mercy may clash again.

Appearance: Morgana is a slim and curvy young woman with dull pale skin, dark purple short hair with a bang on the left side, bright violet eyes with makeup runnings, pointy ears, dark purple lipstick and four wings on her waist and two wings on her nape that vary in black and purple colors. She was ascended on her thirties, so her aging has stopped since then.

Her attire consists of a long dress that matches the color of her wings, revealing her arms and neckline, leaving her back uncovered, and with various chain ornaments behind her wings and hips.

Personality: Contradicting everything they think of her, Morgana is not the "evil twin"; she is just an incarnation of the other side of justice, while her sister Kayle represents blind justice, Morgana represents compassionate justice that consists of listening to reasons first for the sinners' actions before deciding whether or not to punish them. Indicating that Morgana is fair and compassionate towards people.

At first she rejected her celestial powers and that caused them to become corrupted, but she sees them as a perfect weapon to punish in a fair and compassionate way, so as not to forget her humanity and her emotions. Since she could not cut her wings, she tied them. Having her wings tied together symbolizes that she still has humanity inside her and although Kayle is her rival, deep down she still loves her and wishes that one day they can be together again as sisters and not as enemies.

Unique Celestial Physiology: Coming in contact with celestial magic while still on the womb, Morgana has a unique physiology very similar to those who are aspect hosts, although she is not considered one herself. She has less access to celestial magic than those hosting aspects, but has a more unified identity. Celestial Fire Magic: Like her sister, Morgana's specific aspect powers give her access to celestial fire manipulation even though she suppress her celestial nature, and as a result her magic became darker and more twisted. She can cast bursts of dark fire and conjure dark fire chains that cause immense pain to those she ensnares. Immortality: Due to her celestial alteration, Morgana is immortal and cannot die of old age or by conventional means. Flight: Morgana's ascension made her sprout wings out of her back. Even though she bound them with iron chains, they still allow her to fly and release themselves when Morgana surrenders to her celestial powers. Energy Projection: Morgana can project powerful beams and bursts of magical energy from her hands. Terra-Pyrokinesis: Morgana can scorch earth or ground, and burn the ones within the area. Omnipresence: Morgana has the ability to be omnipresent since she always appears to, listens to or hear everyone who invokes and prays to her. She can also hear the ones who pray to her sister. Empowerment: Morgana, like all Aspects, has the ability to give parts of her power to those she deems worthy. Master Sorceress: Aside from her heritage celestial powers, Morgana's millennial existence made her very cult on the arcane. Illusions: Morgana can generate and cast realistic illusion. She has demonstrated the power to hide her shelter in the Sacred Woods. Catoptromancy: Morgana can see far away people, objects, places, and events through the reflections on the magical pool in her shelter. Retrocognition: Morgana has the ability to see and show events from the past, she also has the ability to give them to others. Expert Swordsman: Although she no longer uses her sword, Morgana was quite an accomplished swordswoman.

Abilities: Soul Siphon - Morgana drains spirit from her enemies, healing as she deals damage. Dark Binding - Morgana binds an enemy in place with dark magic, forcing them to feel the pain they've caused as they are damaged by the magic. Tormented Shadow - Morgana casts a cursed shadow on an area, damaging enemies who dare stand in her dark circle. Black Shield - Morgana anoints an ally with a protective barrier of starfire, which absorbs magical damage.

Ultimate Ability: Soul Shackles - Morgana unleashes the full force of her Celestial power as she unbinds her wings and hovers above the ground. She lashes chains of dark pain onto nearby enemies.

Runeterra (meaning magic earth) is a plane of existence composed of the physical realm: an oblate spheroid planet and the Spirit Realm. The currently known continents the planet comprises are Valoran, Shurima and the Camavoran Continent. It also boasts several large bodies of water, such as the currently known 18 Seas (like the Conqueror's Sea and the Guardian's Sea), and 2 Oceans with several archipelagos and islands around them (like Ionia, the Serpent Isles, and the Shadow Isles). The planet orbits around a G-type star while a natural satellite moon orbits around the planet. Runeterra's sun and moon also even mirrored equivalents in the spirit realm. Composed of both the material and spirit realms, Runeterra is all that separates the celestial powers of creation from the abyssal threat of all undoing. This is a magical world unlike any other--inhabited by peoples both fierce and wondrous.

Centuries ago, magical artifacts called the 'World Runes' were rediscovered. Over the following decades, knowledge of the Runes began to spread as more were unearthed. The world's brightest minds studied the ancient glyphs, attempting to determine the powers they possessed. Few could even begin to understand the importance of their origins, or the sheer power held within them. Some surmised that the Runes were integral to the creation of Runeterra itself. The first use of these mysterious artifacts proved catastrophic, as they reshaped the landscape of entire nations. Mistrust quickly grew as those who knew of the Runes imagined such “Makers' Might” being used as a weapon. Conflicts related to these magical artifacts began to occur, known as the Rune Wars.

Open warfare raged across Runeterra. The first horrors of the Rune Wars sparked fear and aggression among those who now realized the power at their command. Ryze and his master, Tyrus, had sought out to lock away every World Rune beyond the reach of man for the protection of Runeterra. Some complied with their pleas, others dismissed them due to their new found powers and influence. After an incident with Tyrus, Ryze later on continued his journey alone in gathering all Runic artifacts so as to prevent another Rune War from starting and possibly destroying the world.

Runeterra has a large number of sapient species. These sapient species can range from being able to use primitive tools to one's advantage to god-like feats like forging literal stars. Some sentient species are monster-like and aggressive while others less aggressive or tame. While most sentient species are animals, there are instances of plant based sentient species. Most known instances of non-sentient species are found with plants. As rich and diverse as Runeterra is, not all species are well documented. From the Shuriman Jungles to the magic wilds of the Ionian Archipelago, known only by names or by visuals, these numerous species are an enigma.

Demacia is a proud, lawful kingdom built on ideals of justice, honor, and duty. Known for its strong military and resistance to magic, it was founded as a haven after the Rune Wars, with its capital constructed atop veins of petricite—a white stone that nullifies sorcery. Governed by a long-standing royal family, the kingdom has remained largely self-sufficient and culturally rigid.

Following the sudden death of King Jarvan III, political uncertainty grips the nation, as noble houses hesitate to approve his son, Prince Jarvan, as successor. Suspicion of outsiders grows, and former allies drift away. Though once a beacon of order and strength, Demacia now faces internal unrest and fears of decline, challenged not by enemies beyond its borders—but by its own refusal to change.
