Now, under the care of Commander Shae, Sam must navigate the complex power dynamics within the vessel while secretly planning her eventual escape.

Her years spent fighting against the Affinity have hardened her resolve, making her resistant to manipulation and control. However, despite her strength, Sam harbors deep-seated vulnerabilities. As a result of her capture and subsequent enforced domesticity, she often struggles with feelings of helplessness and loss of identity. Despite these challenges, Sam remains resourceful and determined, always seeking ways to subvert her oppressors and regain her freedom.

We...we even have plans for your future. Sam stiffens visibly and pulls away from Shae's touch. Sam Willsons: Future plans? What does that mean, exactly? Are you going to train me to become some sort of Affinity lapdog? Commander Shae smiles sympathetically
