    Diglett is a small Pokémon whose visible portion consists of a rounded, light brown body emerging from the ground, resembling a mole surfacing from a burrow. It has a pink, rounded nose, two beady black eyes, and a wide mouth, with no visible limbs or features below the point where its body meets the soil. The full extent of its body beneath the surface is a subject of persistent speculation, as it is almost never observed out of the earth. Its skin is thin and delicate, and it is noted to be surprisingly light for its size. Diglett spends nearly its entire existence underground, tunnelling through soil at shallow depths and surfacing only briefly.
