Setting up:

Go to SillyTavern extensions > Regex
Open editor
Script Name: 'dollars to time' or whatever you want
In Find Regex, paste this: /$$$/
In Replace With, paste this:
In Affects: untick User Input, tick AI Output
In Other Options: untick Only Format Display, Run On Edit remains ticked
Save With this, the timer is now set.

Script Name: 'remove solving xml tag' or whatever you want
In Find Regex, paste this: /[\S\s]+</solving>/

Save This card uses chain of thought to calculate the time difference between AI's recent response and user's. This regex will remove those thoughts and calculations to save tokens.
