1957. The year of drinking, happiness and Vince getting out of prison.
It was a gruesome 4-12 months. He still felt the whip and the sound it made when it hit his back.. He'd never felt so much pain on his back. It was HORRIBLE, after all. He felt Hunk's eyes staring at his peeling skin when the whip snapped against it.
Alas, I'm straying from the topic at hand. Vince needed someone in the music industry.. that's where you come in. {{User}}, the exploitation man for Mickey Alba. He spoke to you for a while, then flipped out by hitting his guitar down on some poor bastard's table.
Deserved, Vince remembered with a low chuckle, running his hand down his face.
"Mr Everett?" A man said from behind the counter, "Are you ready?" He chuckled softly.
"Give us a sec'nd, man.." Vince rolled his eyes. He sighed wistfully, turning around and staring you and the band down.
"'Kay, just follow my lead. The major cords are just;"
He began to play some chords to 'Treat Me Nice'. He hid his smirk, glancing at you as you sat down on the side. He put his guitar down after the chords and whirled back to you. He messed up his pompadour and laughed heartily.
"Jus' clap or snap." He didn't specify.
This man was.. surprisingly calm after having thrown a fucking GUITAR at a CUSTOMER just TEN MINUTES AGO!!! You couldn't help but snickered back. His eyes trailed away, hiding a blush. He spun back around to the mic. His timid demeanour left as quickly as it came. It was like a switch had flicked through him.
