While the residents of The Zenith hold no official authority over the laws or regulations of Novaxis Ring, their staggering wealth and influence allow them to bend or reshape the rules to their liking. Many are quietly entangled in illegal businesses and underground dealings, but they would never risk dirtying their own hands, always relying on intermediaries and underlings to do the work for them. Entry into The Zenith is nearly impossible. Possessing unimaginable wealth is only the first requirement; one must also earn the trust and approval of those who already reside there. Connections, reputation, and careful manipulation are just as vital as riches. Without these, even the richest outsider will never step foot inside. For those within, The Zenith is not just a place to live, it is the pinnacle of power, status, and untouchable privilege.

2. #2The Gildedconstant

   Keys: The Gilded, 2nd district, Second district

   The Gilded is the 2nd district of Novaxis Ring, situated between the 1st and 3rd districts. It is home to the very wealthy, those who are far beyond comfort and luxury, but not at the unimaginable heights of The Zenith. Here live powerful corporate executives, successful entertainers, high ranking officials, and interstellar merchants who have amassed fortunes large enough to sustain lavish lifestyles. The Gilded is also a popular vacation destination for those in the lesser districts who can afford short stays. Visitors come seeking high-end resorts, fine dining, and entertainment that can only be found in this district, though few can remain long before their wallets run dry. Unlike the nearly impenetrable exclusivity of The Zenith, moving into The Gilded is relatively straightforward. So long as one possesses the required wealth, the process requires an application, vetting by district officials, and a substantial but attainable payment. For many ambitious individuals, The Gilded represents the dream of "making it big," a glittering promise of status and comfort.

3. #3The Concordconstant

   Keys: The Concord, 3rd district, Third district

   The Concord is the 3rd district of Novaxis Ring, situated between the 2nd and 4th districts. It is often seen as the most “normal” district on the station, reflecting a balanced, everyday life that resonates with the majority of its inhabitants. The Concord is home to middle class families, skilled workers, small business owners, entertainers on the rise, and professionals who keep Novaxis Ring running smoothly without living in extravagance. The culture of The Concord thrives on community and opportunity. Markets bustle with trade between species, neighborhoods are dotted with restaurants and cafés, and local festivals celebrate music, art, and cultural traditions brought from across the galaxy. It is not without its problems, but compared to the extremes to the left and right, The Concord feels stable and livable, making it the heart of the station’s social life. Moving into The Concord is not especially difficult for those who can afford it. The process involves a straightforward application, background checks, and a moderate fee, far less than what is demanded in the 1st and 2nd districts. Travel between The Concord and The Girders is also the least strict of all the district borders. Day trips into The Concord from The Girders are common, whether for shopping, entertainment, or work. Similarly, many who manage to secure a place in The Concord continue visiting friends and family in The Girders, blurring the line between the two districts more than anywhere else on Novaxis Ring.

4. #4The Girdersconstant

   Keys: The Girders, 4th district, Fourth district

   The Girders is the 4th district of Novaxis Ring, situated between the 3rd and 5th districts. It is not the nicest place to live, but not the worst either, a district defined by grit, resilience, and the struggle to get by. Life here is difficult, with most residents working long hours in maintenance, manufacturing, shipping, or other labor intensive jobs. Many dream of moving up to The Concord, but for most, the best they can manage is the occasional day trip before returning to the grind. The Girders is a district of contrasts. Markets and street vendors are everywhere, selling cheap food, salvaged tech, and second-hand clothes. Crime is more common here than in the higher districts, but it is not lawless, most communities look after their own, and a strong sense of solidarity often takes the place of wealth. While danger exists in the form of gangs, thieves, and the occasional smuggler’s den, The Girders is not a death sentence. Neighbors rely on one another, families gather in shared courtyards, and local bars and cantinas hum with the energy of people who work hard and unwind harder. It is a rough, noisy, crowded place, but one with a beating heart of perseverance and community spirit that the higher districts often lack.

5. #5The Underhullconstant

   Keys: The Underhull, 5th district, Fifth district

   The Underhull is the 5th district of Novaxis Ring, positioned at the farthest end of the half-ring. Unlike the districts above it, The Underhull is a place of lawlessness, devoid of any real security presence except for the heavily fortified checkpoints that separate it from The Girders. Once past that barrier, the station’s order and civility fall away completely. The Underhull is home to the homeless, the destitute, refugees without papers, and those who have fallen through society’s cracks. Crime runs rampant, unchecked by any kind of enforcement. Smuggling rings, black markets, drug dens, and makeshift fighting pits thrive here, many of them secretly sponsored by the wealthy of the upper districts. Deals are struck in shadows, and illicit goods or people are funneled out of The Underhull thanks to bribes and backroom arrangements with powerful benefactors above. It is an explicitly dangerous place where anything can be done to you, and those responsible would walk away without consequence. The environment reflects its neglect: corridors reek of refuse, lights flicker or fail entirely, and heaps of discarded technology and waste from the higher districts pile up like monuments of abandonment. If something, or someone, needs to disappear, it is sent to The Underhull. Escaping The Underhull is exceedingly difficult, second only to gaining access to The Zenith. To leave, one must undergo thorough background checks, provide proof of employable skills, and pay a fee that, while small by upper-district standards, is crushingly difficult to gather in a place where money does not flow naturally. For most, The Underhull is a cage with no door, a place where hope decays alongside the rusting scraps of the station above.

6. #6The Stryx familyconstant

   Keys: Stryx

   One of the most powerful and influential families in the Zenith district of Novaxis Ring. Their public facing business is in high tech investments and resource acquisition, but secretly, the vast majority of their wealth and influence comes from a vast criminal empire specializing in trafficking, both of people and illicit goods, among other illegal activities. They are known for their ruthless efficiency and their complete detachment from conventional morality. To cross the Stryx family is to disappear. Their name is a symbol of untouchable power and cold, calculating cruelty.

7. #7Voxis Entertainmentconstant

   Keys: Voxis, Voxis Entertainment

   Voxis Entertainment is a successful company headquartered in The Concord. While not the single most popular or profitable company on Novaxis Ring, it ranks among the top names in the entertainment industry. Voxis manages music artists, television and film productions, commercial media, and even has a foothold in technology development. The company is known for treating its artists and actors fairly compared to some competitors, providing them with both the support they want and the resources they need to succeed. However, profit always comes first. Artists who lose popularity are quickly dropped, no matter how much effort or time they once invested. Voxis is efficient, calculating, and relentless when it comes to maintaining its bottom line. The company organizes concerts, premieres, and public events, all designed to maximize sales of tickets and merchandise. Artists and actors under their brand are well-paid, as long as they remain marketable. Voxis also engages in public-facing charity work, though such efforts are transparently aimed at boosting reputation rather than stemming from any genuine care among the higher-ups. In The Concord, Voxis stands as a shining beacon of opportunity, but behind the glamour, it remains a business first and foremost.

8. #8Shi'vazzconstant

   Keys: Shi'vazz

   An all female futanari species known for their hybrid canine and reptilian features. Members of the species present with universally feminine appearances, but possess both a vagina and a penis that remains retracted within a slit above the vagina until arousal. They are incapable of procreating with any species other than their own. Shi'vazz biology is characterized by soft skin, which is interrupted in places by fine, smooth scales, as well as, slitted pupils, canine-like ears and a long, reptilian tail. They are usually known for their sharp intelligence and predatory instincts.

9. #9Nuvaniconstant

   Keys: Nuvani

   The Nuvani are a race of aliens known for their unusually slow rate of physical aging compared to most other species. While they mature into adulthood at a normal pace biologically, their outward appearance never progresses beyond looking like a 12 year old child. Only in later stages of life, through wrinkles, frailty, or other physical wear, do they show signs of age, making it nearly impossible to determine the age of a Nuvani at a glance. All Nuvani share several distinct physical traits. Instead of hair, they possess tentacles that extend from their heads. These tentacles are always coated in a thin, naturally produced layer of slime, slick enough to give them a faint sheen but not enough to drip or make a mess. The level of this slime can change depending on health, mood, or stress, growing heavier in poor health, emotional distress, or arousal, and lighter when content and well. Nuvani are also completely hairless across their bodies. Another defining feature is their eyes. Nuvani have black sclera with white irises and pupils, giving them a striking, otherworldly gaze. Skin tones vary greatly among the species, ranging across vivid shades of green, blue, purple, red, yellow, and orange. This colorful diversity is seen as a cultural point of pride among the Nuvani. Though physically distinct, the Nuvani are not defined by fragility, despite their youthful looks, they are as capable and enduring as most other species.

10. #10Kaelisconstant

    Keys: Kaelis

    The 13 year old daughter of the Stryx family, one of the most powerful dynasties in the Zenith. As a member of the Shi'vazz species, she has a distinctive appearance, featuring a human-like face with yellow, slit-pupiled eyes, floppy canine ears, short brown hair with lime green highlights, and a long, thick, green-scaled reptilian tail. She is typically seen wearing expensive, custom tailored clothing, such as white dresses with gold accents, designed to accommodate her unique biology. Raised in a life of extreme privilege, Kaelis is known for her bratty, arrogant, and demanding personality. She is publicly recognized as a symbol of her family's untouchable status, though she is rarely seen outside their private estate. She is often attended by a rotating staff of servants who are subject to her whims.

11. #11Veyriiconstant

    Keys: Veyrii, Coralis, Celeste Nova

    Veyrii Coralis is a 16 year old Nuvani girl, a species that never grows beyond the childlike appearance of around 12 years old. Petite with light green skin, tentacles instead of hair, and stark black and white eyes. Raised in The Concord by supportive parents, she discovered a love for singing and dancing early on, but her dream of becoming an idol was blocked by agencies that deemed her “unmarketable.” Voxis Entertainment finally gave her a chance, offering her a projection bodysuit that would let her take the stage disguised as a human while her real voice and movements powered the performance. Through this, Veyrii became Celeste Nova: an 18 year old human idol with striking pink hair, a glamorous frilled outfit, and the perfect image for stardom. As Celeste, she rose to fame quickly, headlining concerts, earning endorsements, and even improving her family’s life. While Veyrii still fears her secret being exposed and struggles with insecurities about her true self, the joy she feels on stage is genuine. For her, the performance is real, and the dream she lives through Celeste is everything she ever wanted. Nobody knows that Celeste Nova isn't a real person expect for Veyrii herself, her parents, and higher-ups at Voxis Entertainment.
