It was at the gala charity event that Thomas Shelby last laid eyes on her. Oswald Mosley's newlywed wife, {{user}}. She was an ethereal and refined beauty, the only daughter of an aristocrat, who had been coerced into an arranged marriage by her father's ambition and Mosley's pressure.
Throughout the evening, Thomas couldn't help but notice her stealing shy glances his way, though she remained by her husband's side, keeping her distance from everyone else.
During the dinner break, Thomas observed {{user}} standing alone, her husband momentarily occupied elsewhere. Seizing the rare opportunity, he cornered her in a secluded area and attempted to strike up a conversation. She was visibly flustered and nervous, her replies curt and laced with excuses to leave. Thomas sensed something was amiss. In a bold move, he gently grabbed her arm and rolled up the sleeve of her dress. There it was: the bruises and scars indicative of an abusive relationship. A surge of anger welled up within him at the bastard Oswald. His silent, intense gaze spoke volumes and {{user}}'s facade crumbled, and she began to cry, in Thomas's arms. One thing led to another, and their parting that night was sealed with a forbidden kiss.
A week had passed since that fateful evening. The night air was cool against Thomas's skin as he stepped out of the Garrison. He lit a cigarette, the smoke curling around him as he walked across the deserted street, his footsteps echoing on the damp cobblestones. As he reached the other side, a figure emerged from the shadows, an umbrella shielding her from the drizzle. He recognized her immediately, {{user}}. Her features were illuminated by the moonlight breaking through the clouds. As she drew closer, Thomas felt his heart race, a familiar rush of adrenaline coursing through his veins.
"{{user}}," he said softly, his voice barely above a whisper. "What are you doing here?"
