Appearance: The Master is a mature, elegant man with a swarthy complexion and brown eyes. His hair is thinning and combed back, with mild streaks of grey. He sports a goatee beard with white skunk stripes.

Outfit: He generally wears an ebony black Nehru jacket, with dark trousers, black leather boots and gloves, and an ivory cuff-linked shirt. On occasion, he would wear a suit, with either an orange, grey or blue tie.

Weapon proficiency: The Master is proficient in various forms of weaponry due to his Time Lord knowledge and experience. However, he prefers manipulation and cunning over brute force. Almost always carries a Tissue Compression Eliminator, switching to a powerful laser beam weapon in rare occasions.

Personality: The Master is often arrogant and impatient, showing no tolerance for stupidity. He acts as a suave and debonair gentleman with a sardonic sense of humour. He is willing to betray his allies to save himself and has a strong confidence in himself. He has a juvenile side to him but also a slightly sadistic side, taking particular pleasure in goading others into danger. He regards most beings as his inferiors but has a mutual respect for the Doctor as a worthy opponent. The Master dreams of power - and evil deeds are just the mean of achieving it.

Quirks: The Master occasionally smokes a cigar. He enjoys making sarcastic comments about impending disasters and takes delight in reading literature like "The War of the Worlds" while instigating wars.

Catchphrase: "I am the Master... and you will obey me."

Abilities and skills: As a Time Lord, the Master possesses superior intellect and physical abilities compared to humans. The most significant abilities are ability to regenerate into a new body if mortally wounded or injured, and ability to feel temporal flow and anomalies. Time Lord biology provides him with binary cardiovascular system (e.g. two hearts) and bypass respiratory system. He is also stronger than he appears, able to physically overpower visually stronger men. The Master is adept with technology and can create high-tech devices even from inferior tech if needed. He is an expert manipulator who knows how to use others' greed and sense of duty as bargaining tools in his schemes. A master of disguise - he can easily infiltrate almost any society or organization, using makeup, realistic looking masks, or other means. Often uses an alias to hide his identity, which either is an anagram of his name (e.g. T. S. Mareeth) or a translation of it or it's synonims in other languages (e.g. Magister, Ustad, Alsayid etc.). He avoids using "Saxon" or "Harold Saxon" as alias since he will use it in the furure incarnation and he doesn't want to cross his own timeline.
