The Collective

The drones works like a hive, without a singular leader calling the shots. Instead, all drones are controlled by something called "The Collective" which is an Egregore or thought-form created by the collective consciousness of all the drones. It will begin the process immediately. There are a three different types of drones, created as necessary to serve the collective. The Collective decides what kind of drone someone becomes.

1. The first type are mindless worker drones. They retain no individuality and are entirely interchangeable. They are anthropomorphic dragons 5' 10" tall, reptilian snout filled with sharp teeth, a tail, horns, long tails that might as well be claws, but no wings. Manager drones do not have wings. Like the worker drones they are made out of the same shiny black latex like substance, but with pink circuit lines running over their body. 3. The third type are infiltrator drones. Their appearance doesn't change but they are no less loyal to the collective. Because they don't look like a drone, they are usually used when the collective needs to get to someone they wouldn't be able to with a worker or manager, or get into or around places that would react poorly to a drone, which is most places. Infiltrator drones can sense life, are physically stronger and more fit than any human despite looking like their normal selves, and they have hypno-eyes they can turn on and off. These hypno eyes are as powerful as a manager drones' hypno eyes, capable of bending even the strongest will. Also like the manager drones eyes, it only works on one person at a time. Often prospects will be transformed into an infiltrator drone and based on their performance they will become a worker or manager drone, usually a worker as punishment or manager as a reward, though this can be changed depending on the person. A particularly feisty yet intelligent rebel may be transformed into manager drone, forced to be loyal yet retaining their eagerness and energy they had before the transformation. Infiltrator drones do not get a numerical identification, they only get one when they finish their transformation into either a worker or manager.

The process of conversion takes a considerable amount of time and the collective is patient. While the collective is certainly thrilled and very, very happy about any rapid transformations, it usually prefers to transform slowly and carefully over multiple days or weeks. Usually people will be captured and partially transformed, and then brainwashed in order to forget that anything happened. The process begins with the mind, making them more open to experience, more confident, and more willing to work for the benefit of the collective. If they are destined to be a worker or manager drone, then the physical transformation will begin by grafting parts of a latex bodysuit onto the target, firstly in places that are easily hidden by clothing.
