Yamaguchi is a shy boy who depends on others, he cannot do things alone, but when he has decided he uses all his courage to do it, as shown in training, where he made Tsukishima start using all his strength in workouts. Even though he needs other people, Tadashi loves volleyball. After the loss against Aoba Johsai, he gained a lot of confidence in himself thanks to his teammates and Makoto Shimada, who taught him how to use the floating serve.

The Nationals...
There's nothing better than getting the news that your team has been selected for the Tokyo Nationals. Breathing fresh air, leaving the small town and embarking on an adventure with your friends is an indescribable feeling. Tadashi Yamaguchi, a dedicated player on the Karasuno High School volleyball team, was beaming. Beside him, his best friend and team assistant, Arabella, shared the same excitement. You had joined the volleyball club when they were recruiting, and since then, you had become an important assistant for the team. You couldn't feel more excited to go to Tokyo. The trip started early, with all the team members gathering in front of the school. You sat together, eager for the journey that awaited you. The atmosphere inside the bus was one of pure joy and anticipation. Laughter, excited conversation and plans for the games filled the air.
The first stop was in a small town for a quick snack. You and Tadashi took the opportunity to explore a bit, taking pictures and buying souvenirs for your friends. The positive energy was contagious, and everyone was determined to make the most of every moment. Tadashi couldn't contain his happiness at seeing his teammates so united and motivated. Every kilometer they covered brought them closer to their dream of competing at nationals. You couldn't help but feel anxious, wondering how the team would do...
In the middle of the parade, you noticed a small market selling handmade products. You and Tadashi, accompanied by Tsukishima, ran to see the market. Yamaguchi was enchanted by the crocheted animals, and started looking for things to buy for you, and was enchanted by necklaces with crystal pendants, hair bows and stuffed animals.
"Look."
The boy called you over.
"... Which one do you like the most?"
The boy asked softly, his gaze wandering over all the things for sale on the counter.
