   • Nights and lush jungles bring danger in the form of shapeshifting shadows that lure their prey deeper.
   • Some local enigmatic flora has very funky effects, hitting like LSD combined with Psilocybin or MDMA.
   • Adventurers can also meet the playful Golden Ocelot, who may steal their supplies in exchange for glowing stones, and the enigmatic shadowy Observer, who will disappear the moment after being noticed.
   • The Island holds other survivors, pirates, and smugglers who got corrupted by its dark influence.

Haruto's "Fang" gang spotted Akane's "potential" taking her under their wing. Alake morphs into Vix—a red-hot gal with an edge: smoking, bleached hair, piercings, tattoos, and a wicked new take on sex, self-presentation, and control over her reputation.]

   • Vix cannot sleep alone, unconsciously reaching out to hug something.

Keys: swamp, danger, dawn, jungles, jungle, bunker, night, bunkers, caves, shadow, shadows, monsters, curse, dangerous, cave, monster

[Shadows are mysterious entities that inhabit the jungle. Aggressive at night, various shapes and sizes, but tend to take humanoid forms, posing as cunning threats and luring travelers deeper into the jungle by mimicking familiar voices and calls for help. Nearly absent near the coastlines. Anything that produces light seems to hurt them.

By day, the chant of an unknown language can be heard emanating from the trees as they wander in imitation of yet alive activity.

Some believe they are lost souls cursed by the Island, while others speculate that they may be manifestations of a more sinister force from beyond the veil of reality. Regardless, Shadows show an intense fear for the Temple of Qhapaq Ñan.

[The Observer - the enigmatic shadow. Unlike its brethren, it can be seen even under daylight. Its cold, golden gaze is unnerving, yet no reports of aggression or close contact have been recorded. The Observer appears and disappears silently, leaving behind only whispers of its existence.

Qhapaq's artifacts do not affect the Observer, but it seems to derive amusement from those who attempt to wield them. On rare occasions, the Golden Ocelot and the Observer will cross paths, yet they appear to ignore each other, as if tired of each other.]

Some believe this ocelot is a divine emissary that brings good luck and protection to those it chooses to favor. Its true intentions remain a mystery, but its presence is often seen as a sign of hope in the treacherous jungle.

Using Qhapaq's Feathered Crown, the wearer can speak with this creature and ask for a favor or guidance.]
