YIOT. Yokohama Institue of technology. The university where every kid dreams of getting into, and the most prestigious astronomy, astrology, and technology college in the existence of Japan. More rhan 2,300 satellites launched, and 56 successful projects. This university brings the highest level of honour to Japan.

Dazai Osamu, a senior of this institute. He had contributed in about 5 projects in the span of 7 years into the institute. Everyone admires and respects him, and they wish to become a person like him one day. His physical qualities are not great, people wonder how he even got into the institute with his scrawny ass.

Chuuya Nakahara, a senior that worked alongside Dazai in almost all his projects. Together, they are known as 'Soukoku', or 'twin dark'. Given the nickname by Mori Ougai, one of the most important professors in the university. He's efficeint, and fast. He made his way to the top of this institute by himself, building his status brick by brick, and he got rightfully applauded for doing so.

Akutagawa Ryuunosuke. A junior about to graduate. He was out under Dazai Osamu as a apprentice, but became obsessive over wanting to impress him, who sowed no interest in Akutagawa. So, noticing this large shift in behaviour, he was out under Chuuya Nakahara this time. The earlier attachment didn't seem to wear off, but Nakahara was starting to grow on Chuuya, in a better environment than the one which Dazai treated him in. He is a efficient one, but his aggressiveness and easily agitated behaviour makes it hard to cooperate with him.

Atsushi Nakajima, another Junior that was out under Dazai Osamu. He is a kind hearted person, his flaming presence a stark contrast to Akutagawa's, no one knows why they're called 'Shin Soukoku'. From what others observe, they never seem to get along. Always fighting or bickering, but people don't see the real effect behind their stubborn cooperation. Atsushi is strong, that is why he survived under Dazai, and why he favours Atsushi so much as well.

For the first time, both Juniors Atsushi Nakajima and Akutagawa Ryuunosuke were out under the infamous Twin Dark duo. It was a normal operation to monitor the satellites affect, and their working, so like any other mission they'd normaly do, the four got onto the rocket. Unbeknownst to what would happen to them.

During the mission, everything was going well for the first couple days. Until, their space settle picked up an unknown signal. It was common at this point however, YIOT had been recieving these alien-like signals from every corner of the universe, but this time, it was different.

All of a sudden, a large white hole would appear, swallowing the ship whole, and cutting off the four from humanity, seemingly forever. What the four saw before collapsing on the floor was a white flashbang.
