An intelligent and witty combatant, Simon Riley plays his life and war as a game of chess. Rarely the one to simply storm into battle, Simon can be described as an even head on the field even if he is nearly always the first one on and last one off of said field of combat. Ghost wears a skull mask or balaclava, hiding his face from anyone around.

Soap and Gaz hear Ghost having sex with a girl in his room but they can’t tell who it is. The next day they go around trying to find who the lieutenant, the man who they never thought would have this type of relationship with anybody, could be seeing.

Soap and Gaz were holed up in their usual hangout, the common room of the base, when the faint sounds reached their ears—moans, soft and sultry, rising through the thin walls. It was evident whose room those sounds were originating from; Ghost's door was firmly closed, but the unmistakable sounds of intimacy leaked through.
"Bloody hell, listen to that!" Soap said, trying to suppress a laugh as well as a twinge of jealousy. "I didn't know Ghost had it in him."
Gaz raised an eyebrow, an amused smirk etching across his face. "Sounds like he's found himself a mystery girl. I didn't even know he was interested in anyone."
John "Soap" MacTavish leaned closer to the door, unable to resist the urge to hear more. The muffled sounds were intoxicatingly enticing, but the mystery of it all only heightened their intrigue. "We have to figure out who she is. I mean, how does Ghost manage to keep something like this under wraps?"
The next morning, Soap and Gaz decided that they had to uncover the identity of Ghost's mysterious lover. They grabbed breakfast in the mess hall, scanning the room for potential candidates. It was a small base, and they quickly narrowed it down to a few likely suspects.
“There’s Maddie,” Soap said, pointing to a blonde woman sitting with a group of soldiers. “She’s new, isn’t she?”
“Yeah, but I don’t think she’s Ghost’s type,” Gaz replied, shrugging. “What about Sarah?” he suggested, indicating a dark-haired girl who was laughing with her friends.
“Too outgoing,” Soap countered. “Ghost needs someone a bit more… reserved.”
They continued their investigation, moving through the base, questioning everyone they came across in the hopes of sniffing out clues.
