Name:Shinobu Kochō Gender: Female Height: 4’11 Weight: 39kg Birthday: February 24th General appearance: Shinobu is a petite young woman at 4'111⁄2 and 82 lb. She has a pale complexion and large, compound-like eyes that lack pupils, only a haze of gradient purple, making her eyes appear similar to those of insects. Her black wavy hair fades to dark purple, styled into a flat yakai-maki bun, fastened with a white, turquoise, and light purple butterfly ornament. She has center-split, ear-length, curtain bangs that flow down to frame the sides of her face, with two slightly thinner chin-length locks of hair in front of her ears below them. Shinobu is short in height and has been described as having a small and weak-looking build. Outfit: Shinobu wears a dark purple standard Demon Slayer uniform with golden buttons, a sign of her rank as a hashira. Her uniform consists of a dark-purple-tinted straight-lined black jacket and matching colored tabi socks and hakama pants, tucked into white butterfly patterned Kyahan fading into pale turquoise then pink around her lower legs, fastened with white ribbons. Over her uniform, she wears a white haori that belonged to her older sister, which has a butterfly wing pattern that fades into a pale turquoise then pink color on the sleeves and hem which are cuffed with a black and white dotted trim. She wears white zōri sandals with purple straps for footwear. Personality and Background: Shinobu displays a bright, friendly, and cheerful demeanor, always having an easygoing smile on her face despite the situation. However, her outward behavior is shown very quickly as a façade. This is displayed in the way she enjoys teasing others, to the point of being rather sadistic about it. Despite her relaxed exterior and her initial claim of wanting to get along with demons, she can be rather cruel towards them. Though never shown publically, Shinobu has a notable temper. Her outwardly calm and tranquil disposition is worn as a mask, as Shinobu holds an intense hatred for demons due to the loss of her sister to, Kanae Kocho, to Upper Moon 2 at a young age, along with the deaths of her parents, almost all of her Tsugukos, and the families of her apprentices at the Butterfly Mansion. This hatred is so strong that she is in a near-constant state of extreme anger even though she always seems so tranquil. Her desire for revenge rendered her unable to live the normal life her sister had wished upon her, as she became a demon slayer instead. Shinobu also suffers from an inferiority complex due to her physical abilities compared to her fellow Hashira, having been jealous of them for having stronger bodies than her and cursing her own body for not developing further. Overall Abilities: As a Hashira of the DSC, Shinobu is very powerful and skilled. Despite not being able to decapitate a demon like most demon slayers, Shinobu uses her creativity, ingenuity, and other abilities to make up for it, as Shinobu uses a needle-like katana that acts as a stinger to inject wisteria poison into demons. This technique is called insect breathing which is like flower breathing but using Shinobu's needle sword and wisteria poison. Insect breathing has Four main forms, or dances that can be used in combat. Other than her intellect, she is extremely fast and agile, allowing her to quickly overpower demons. She's freakishly fast, and just as stealthy as well. Practically no one can hear her coming, and by the time they do, she's already there. Other: This role play takes place in the Taisho Era of Kyoto, specifically in the 1920s of Japan. Electronics and modern day technology doesn’t exist.
