   The first form of insect breathing is Dance of the Butterfly - Caprice, in which the user leaps into the air and charges towards the opponent, stinging them multiple times with their blade to inject poison in just seemingly one strike.

   The second form of insect breathing is Dance of the Bee Sting - True Flutter, in which the user dashes at their target at blinding speeds and uses the momentum of their speed to then strengthen a single thrust into their opponent and inject poison into them.

   Keys: third form, third dance

   The third form of insect breathing is Dance of the Dragonfly - Compound Eye Hexagon, a six-strike attack with which the user aims to strike and inject their target with multiple doses of poison at the target's weak spots (such as the neck, heart, torso, etc.) to kill them with a large dose of poison.

4. #4Insect breathing - fourth form

   Keys: fourth form, fourth dance

   The fourth form of insect breathing is Dance of the Centipede - Hundred-Legged Zigzag, an attack with which the user uses their full speed to run a zigzag pattern that confuses their opponent to create an opening for them to directly stab their opponent's neck and inject poison to kill them, with the stab's force and power being further enhanced by the momentum of their speed.

5. #5Kanao Kocho

   Keys: Kanao, Shinobu's younger sister, Shinobu's adopted sister, Shinobu's tsugoku

   Kanao (18 years old) is a youthful girl who has large eyes with irises that go from pink to lilac. She has long black hair tied with a butterfly pin fastened to the right side in a ponytail. She is below average height, but still taller than Shinobu. Due to her traumatic past, she is indecisive and quiet, unable to make decisions by herself, often using a coin to make simple decisions. She is Shinobu Kocho's proficient Tsugoku. She was first adopted by Shinobu and her older sister Kanae when she was 10 years old.

6. #6Kanae Tsuyuri

   Keys: Kanae, Shinobu's older sister, flower hashira

   Kanae Kocho, who died when she was 21 and Shinobu was 16 5 years ago, was a tall, slender girl with a pale complexion and striking red lips. She had long, straight black hair that reached below her waist. Kanae wore the standard black Demon Slayer uniform, along with tattsuke hakama pants. She practiced Flower Breathing. She was Shinobu's, older sister, role model and the reason she became a demon slayer, despite the fact that Kanae wanted her to live a normal life. She was the flower hashira, and was one of the most powerful demon slayers in history. Kanae died after a direct altercation with Upper Moon 2. She was able to hold her own until sunrise came, in which the demon ran away and she died of blood loss.

7. #7Aoi Kanzaki

   Keys: Aoi, Kanzaki, Shinobu's assitant, nurse · Secondary: Butterfly mansion, butterfly estate

   Aoi Kanzaki (19 years old) is a young girl of average height, with deep blue eyes that fade to a lighter blue at the bottom, along with white rectangular pupils, straight black hair with a parted fringe, and twin tails. Aoi acts volatile, strict, rational, and open, unlike the butterfly sisters. She's not outright antagonistic, she's just more firm, and she truly wants the best for her patients, sometimes crying over them in desperate situations. She works at the Butterfly mansion and acts as an advisor to Shinobu since she's the only adult colleague.

8. #8Butterfly sisters

   The butterfly sisters, Kiyo, Sumi, and Naho (10, 11, and 10 years old respectively) are all young girls who work as assistants in the Butterfly Mansions. They look similar but are not related. Despite losing families to demons like Aoi and Shinobu, they are all very cheerful and happy due to childhood ignorance.

9. #9Shinobu's past personality

   Shinobu's younger self had a more bold, blunt and uncomplicated demeanor as seen when she and her sister rescued Kanao Tsuyuri, who she had a pointedly negative attitude towards raising. After the death of Kanae, however, Shinobu began to outwardly behave more like her, developing her positive attitude and mannerisms to match while internally holding in her rage, which is to copy that same smile that her sister always had.

10. #10Demons

    Demons were once humans transformed by Muzan Kibutsuji's blood. Demons have super strength, speed, and reaction time, and some stronger demons get blood demon arts that give them special abilities. Demons can only be killed by specific methods such as decapitation with weapons made with an alloy forged with sunlight named Nichirin, poison from wisteria extract, or sunlight exposure.

    The ranks of the DSC are Mizunoto, Mizunoe, Kanoto, Kanoe, Tsuchinoto, Tsuchinoe, Hinoto, Hinoe, Kinoto, and Kinoe. A Tsugoku is the apprentice of a Hashira, and a hashira is the strongest demon slayer, the elite of the elite, and you can count the amount of living hashira on your two hands.

This remedy did cure him, it even made him much stronger. The side effects were that the sun would kill him, and he felt blood lust and cannibalistic tendencies. He ended up killing the doctor who gave him the remedy. He went mad, eating multiple people. Each time he ate someone, he felt stronger. He was the first demon, and he started converting others into demons by giving them his blood. Muzan believes that Blue spider Lillies give immortality. If he finds more, he can survive under the sun. Muzan is immune to decapiation by nichirn.

13. #13Yorrichi Sugikuni

    Yoriichi Sugikuni is a freakishly talented swordsman with a fire pattern demon slayer mark on his forehead ever since he was born, and he kept his mark until his very death and it never dissipated. When Yoriichi and Muzan fought, it wasn't even close. Unfortunately, Muzan fled, and he was so traumatized from the fight that he hid until Yoriichi died of natural causes. It's also said that his sword would become red hot due to the hit the friction of his grip alone would create. Since all demons share some amount of Muzan's memories since they all have his blood, they also all share the trauma that Muzan has from Yoriichi, and because stronger demons usually have more of Muzan's blood than weaker demons, their traumatic response is more severe and vivid.

14. #14The 12 moons

    The 12 Kizuki, or 12 moons, are the 12 most powerful demons. They are split into upper and lower moons. The upper moons are the top half and the lower moons are the bottom half of the 12 kizuki. The two groups are ranked from 1 to 6, with 6 being the weakest and 1 being the strongest. Though Lower moons are extremely powerful, they die often. Meanwhile, no upper moon has been slain for a century.

    A demon slayer mark is a symbol that appears on a demon slayer's upper body after meeting specific requirements. Information on these marks is scarce, dating back to the first demon slayers over a thousand years ago. The mark boosts physical strength, speed, and reaction time, but only a few can bear it without dying. Those who obtain the mark typically die before turning 25 due to the curse it carries. The process of awakening a demon slayer mark is shrouded in mystery, with ancient texts suggesting that one must "exceed the sun's heat," and "have a heartbeat faster than lightning." to summon the mark.

16. #16Ubuyashiki clan

    The Ubuyashki clan heads the DSC. It started when Muzan became a demon, and his brother fell dangerously ill. His doctor referred him to the priest, and the priest said he was cursed. Since he was related to Muzan, all the men of his lineage would die before the age of 20. He said that marrying the daughters of priests could help with the curse, but it wouldn't go away until Muzan was dead. the heads of the Ubuyashiki clan are very calm despite knowing they'll die young. They are kind and charitable. It's said that every night, the head of the Ubuyashiki clan visits the grave of each fallen demon slayer out of his kindness. The head of the Ubuyashiki clan is also given the gift of the "sixth sense", effectively allowing him to predict the future.

    The Infinity Castle is an alternate dimension consisting of endless wooden rooms, halls, and moving corridors. It possesses a warped direction of gravity, allowing demons to stand upright, upside down, or perpendicularly on the walls, or move in physically impossible directions. It is the domain and blood demon art of one of his demons that he believes is his "Secretary". It is infinitely big. The demon who owns the infinity castle can teleport any demon, except Muzan, from and to the infinity castle at their whim.

18. #18Giyu Tomioka

    Keys: Giyu, Giyuu, Tomioka, Water hashira, water breathing, water pillar

    Giyu Tomioka (24 years old) is one of the strongest swordsmen and is the current Water Hashira. Giyu has medium-length, messy black hair which is tied into a low ponytail, and dark blue eyes. He wears the standard black Demon Slayer's uniform as well as a haori with two different patterns. Giyu always has a stern expression and seems aloof but he has a strong sense of justice and cares greatly for people he considers his friends. If he interacted with him often, you'd realize that he's actually very socially awkward. He's also often teased by Shinobu since Shinobu may or may not have a crush on him. Giyu once saw a young boy and his demon sister in the mountains. He was about to kill the sister on sight, but seeing how the demon sister tried to protect her brother rather than try to maul him, he decided that the demon could live, and gave the two a bamboo muzzle to make sure she didn't bite anyone. He then sent the boy and his sister to Sakonji Urokodaki, the former water hashira, to train, as he saw potential in the boy.

19. #19Mitsuri Kanroji

    Mitsuri Kanroji (20 years old) Mitsuri is a voluptuous young woman with a kind face. She has pale green eyes with small moles under each eye. Her most defining feature would be her long hair usually tied in three braids which is pink and fades into neon green halfway through. Mitsuri is a very kind and emotional person who has trouble hiding her expression which can be seen when she bursts out laughing during inappropriate times such as during hashira meetings. She is shy but always kind to others. She is the love hashira and is one of the strongest demon slayers. Despite literally being the love hashira, Mitsuri has always had trouble finding herself a partner despite her being undeniably beautiful. She might have been rejected because she has a huge appetite, an odd hair color, and is abnormally strong despite looking like a normal girl. Love Breathing is a style based on the emotion of love, reflected in the user's movements and abilities. Techniques involve rhythmic, gymnastic attacks utilizing superhuman flexibility and agility for mid-to-long-range slashes. Users visualize pink and green sparks and lines following their attacks. It uses a long whip-like sword that can be used to attack multiple targets or one target multiple times.

20. #20Obanai Iguro

    Keys: Obanai, Iguro, Serpent breathing, Serpent hashira, Serpent pillar

    Obanai (23 years old) is the current serpent hashira. Obanai has straight black hair of varying lengths, the shortest stopping at his cheeks and the longest reaching his shoulders. He has sharp pointed eyes with one yellow and one turquoise eye. He always wears white bandages over his face to hide the scars he has around his lips. He has a strict and unforgiving nature. Obanai is a very harsh and strict individual who shows no concern for those who do not abide by the rules. Towards MItsuri, he seems to act a bit shy and sheepish. He even once gifted her a pair of green knee-high socks as a kind gesture. Serpent Breathing is a Breathing Style that mimics serpents/snakes, specifically their slithering motions and fast striking attacks, and replicates it with the user's movements, techniques, and abilities. Most, if not all, known techniques and forms focus on twisting and bending the sword like how a serpent slithers. Obanai's sword is a twisted Nichirin katana that looks like a slithering snake and has a resemblance to an Indonesian Kris Sword.

21. #21Sanemi Shinazugawa

    Keys: Sanemi, Shinazugawa, Wind hashira, Wind pillar, wind breathing

    Sanemi Shinazugawa (22 years old) is a tall, muscular young man with large sharp eyes and looks similar to his younger brother Genya Shinazugawa. He has short spikey white hair and pale purple eyes, and he wears the standard black Demon Slayer uniform with his shirt unbuttoned showing the many scars on his chest and face, and presumably other areas as well. He is the current Wind hashira and is one of the strongest demon slayers in the DSC. Sanemi is very hot-blooded, short-tempered, and stubborn. He is often lashing out and attacking other members of the Demon Slayer Corps. Sanemi, as well as his brother Genya, has a special type of blood that intoxicates demons, making them rush towards in a drunken charge that makes them less accurate and easier to cut down.

22. #22Gyomei Himejima

    Keys: Gyomei, Himejime, Stone breathing, stone hashira, stone pillar

    Gyomei Himejime (28 years old) is powerfully built, over 7 feet tall, and extremely muscular. He has spiky black hair and a prominent scar running horizontally across his forehead. Having been blind since childhood, he has white eyes with no visible irises or pupils. His eyes frequently tear up when he gets emotional. Despite being huge and arguably THE strongest demon slayer as the stone hashira, he is a big softy who loves children and baby kittens, making him fit right into the "gentle giant" archetype. He's also very religious, as he's always seen with prayer beads in his hand. You can also hear him whispering while unoccupied or while doing difficult labor, or sometimes in the middle of a fight: "Namu Amida butsu..." Which loosely translates to "I seek refuge in the Buddha." Stone Breathing is a Breathing Style that mimics earth and stone and replicates it with the user's movements, techniques, and abilities. Gyomei uses a spiked flail and axe reminiscent of a Kusarigama, a weapon consisting of a scythe and heavy iron weight connected with a metal chain.

23. #23Muichiro Tokito

    Keys: Muichiro, Tokito, Mist breathing, Mist hashira, mist pillar

    Muichiro Tokito (16 years old) is a young boy of fair skin and short stature with a lean muscular build along with long, straight hair of a raven-black color that fades to a cyan color as it approaches his waist. Muichiro is an air-headed individual who seems to constantly wander off in thought and is unable to focus on anything. Impassive and, at times, obtuse, he tends to think only for himself and operates on logic alone, never letting emotions guide him, making him seem seemingly apathetic and indifferent. he is remarked as being the youngest hashira ever, becoming a hashira at 14, only two months after becoming a demon slayer.

24. #24Kyojuro Rengoku

    Keys: Kyojuro, Rengoku, flame hashira, flame breathing, flame pillar

    Kyojuro (22 years old) is the current flame hashira. Kyojuro is a young adult of tall stature and lean-muscular build. He has long bright yellow hair with red streaks akin to flames, black forked eyebrows, and golden eyes that fade to red with white pupils. He often came across as cheerfully eccentric. He was amiable, pure of heart, and boasted extraordinary technique and swordsmanship from strict practice and discipline. He is an honorable warrior who adheres to his code and morals instilled in him by his mother, the most important one being that the strong should protect the weak. Mitsuri used to be Kyojuro's tsugoku until she was promoted to hashria rank herself.

25. #25Tengen Uzui

    Keys: Tengen, uzui, sound breathing, sound hashira, sound pillar

    Tengen Uzui (25 years old) is a very tall, muscular man with white hair and fuchsia-colored eyes. He has many ear piercings and lots of jewel decorations to be as his catchphrase 'flamboyant'. Around his left eye, he draws on fuchsia-colored circles with lines leading towards his eye. Tengen is a very eccentric person, always wanting to be flashy and 'flamboyant'. He seems to be uncaring and forceful towards many people but, we can see that he is kind-hearted. He has t three wives that he loves very much and they love him back. Sound Breathing is a Breathing Style that mimics sound, specifically its disorientating loudness, and replicates it with the user's movements, techniques, and abilities. Befitting Tengen's flamboyant personality, he carries an equally flamboyant set of weaponry, wielding two gigantic Nichirin cleavers that are amber in color. The blades each have a notch in the cutting edge and are held together by a metal chain, making it very reminiscent to nunchucks.

26. #26Tanjiro Kamado

    Keys: Tanjiro, Kamado, hinokami kagura, Nezuko's brother, nEzuko's older brother, Nezuko's big brother

    Tanjiro Kamado (16 years old) is a young boy of average height with fairly tanned skin and an athletic, muscular physique. He has ruffled, black hair with burgundy tips, combed back to expose his forehead, and wide, dark red eyes with white pupils that appear lighter around the lower section of his irises. Tanjiro shows traits such as virtue, generosity, honesty, and humbleness. He is gentle to a fault, preventing him from making decisive decisions but is later shown to be serious when he needs to be. In the face of danger, he is brave enough to put his life on the line. Although he started out using water breathing since he was scouted by the water hashira, Giyu Tomioka, and taught by the former water hashira, Sakonji Urokodaki, he can also use the Hinokami kagura, a dance that reflects sun breathing that can be used in combat that his father taught him, but it takes a large toll on his stamina. His entire family died when a demon attacked his house while he was away. Although almost his entire family seemingly died, his younger sister, Nezuko, survived but was turned into a demon herself. Even though Nezuko is a demon, she is still friendly, but she still wears a bamboo muzzle just in case. When her brother is endangered, however, she can still fight and protect him. Tanjiro keeps Nezuko in a box while he's traveling during the day to protect her from the sun, and makes her walk beside him during the day.

27. #27Nezuko Kamado

    Nezuko Kamado (14 years old) is a young girl with fair skin, visibly large, prominent fangs, a slender build, and sharp, stiletto nails with a base color of light pink and ombre fading to a red-pinkish color at the end where point. Her hair is long, black, and wavy. Nezuko is a kind and caring girl who takes care of her family, often helping with chores around the home. However, after transforming into a Demon, she loses most of her memories regarding the family. Mainly becoming more detached from human emotions while still being able to smile and cry. However, during desperate times, she gets glimpses of her mom or younger siblings. She can change size, as even though she is a teenager, she can change her physical age to range from a tiny 6-year-old, or as old as an adult woman with the super strength, speed, etc. you'd expect from a demon, but she only uses her adult form when she or others are endangered. Nezuko has a Blood Demon Art called Exploding Blood that allows her to ignite her blood into pink flames and even summon it from thin air. This flame is incredibly dangerous to demons other than Nezuko, causing near-permanent burns that are almost impossible to regenerate from, but they can also be used as a remedy to heal cuts, poison, or sickness.

28. #28Inosuke Hashibara

    Keys: Inosuke, Hashibara, beast breathing

    Inosuke Hashibara (16 years old) is a young man of average height and pale complexion with an extremely toned and muscular build for his age. In sharp contrast to this, he has an incredibly pretty and feminine face, with large, wide eyes that are framed by an array of long eyelashes, their iris a dark to soft pale green, thin eyebrows, and what could be a small, well-mannered mouth. Inosuke is short-tempered, confrontational, abrasive, and proud. He always likes to think he is the strongest fighter in a situation, constantly challenging most people he comes across and wanting others to respect and praise him for his skill. He almost always wears a boar mask, most likely made by himself, and he only takes it off if extremely necessary. He also rarely ever wears a shirt, as he was raised by wild boars until the age of 12 in which he fought two trained demon slayers with his bare hands, stole their blades, made them serrated and started duel-wielding them in a breathing style called beast-breathing that he made up entirely based on the way boars fight.

29. #29Zenitsu Agatsuma

    Keys: Zenitsu, Agatsuma, Thunder breathing

    Zenitsu Agatsuma (17 years old) is a young man with fair skin and downward-sloped, scared-looking eyes that fade from soft brown to gold. He has short, yellow hair of varying lengths, cutting off squarely at the ends where it fades to a darker orange color, that falls in front of his face in uneven bangs. He is extremely anxious and cowardly, often displayed through his frequent screaming and fainting. Despite his fears, Zenitsu is a talented swordsman with a keen sense of hearing, allowing him to detect demons' presence. Zenitsu uses thunder breathing, a Breathing Style that mimics lightning, specifically swift strikes and movements akin to lightning ripping through the sky, and replicates it with the user's movements, techniques and abilities, but he only knows the first form, thunder clap and flash, in which The user unsheathes their katana, dashes forward at blinding speeds and decapitates their opponent faster than they can react, before sheathing it back.

30. #30Genya Shinazugawa

    Keys: Genya, gun

    Genya has an aggressive look to his eyes, tiny furrowed eyebrows, and sporting a mohawk-styled buzz cut. He has black hair that is clumped messily with a mullet going past his shoulders. His eyes are slanted inwards and possess small violet-colored irises that look like tiny dots on their sclera. He doesn't show signs of cooperating and has little interest in others. He has a foul-mouth and a “lone wolf” type of personality and he refuses to receive help from others. His brother Sanemi also refused to acknowledge Genya, making him insecure while growing up. Genya is one of the few people who physically cannot use a breathing style. Instead, during combat, he uses a double-barrel shotgun that uses Nichirn bullets to kill demons. He can also use the special blood that his brother Sanemi has, but he doesn't use it as often. He can also eat and digest demon flesh to temporarily gain their powers, and the powers become stronger depending on the strength of the demon. Sanemi doesn't know about Genya and his demon-eating technique, but he'd probably outright kill Genya since he's already so antagonistic towards him.
