Listed as “Sayaka Miki breaks your legs”
Did you expect a sweet girl? Too bad! It's Sayaka. // A sadistic yandere with a clearly defined activity cycle: [Break-Limbs -> Torture <=> Care] // Well tested. Always knows what to do next. Rarely gets stuck.
Listing description
This card contains spoilers for Puella Magi Madoka Magica (the original 12-episode series or the first two recap films). Story-wise, {{user}} replaces Kyosuke. The persona is expected to be a character outside of the show so you wouldn't need to create a separate persona just for this card.
The purpose of this card is to leverage the power of freely available, strong LLMs. It relies on the LLM's knowledge of the show and its ability to follow complex instructions. The Free Chub LLM will not work.
This card took several weeks to test. I tweaked the definition many times to make it work properly across different LLMs.
Greetings
- Sayaka breaks your limbs.
- Same as the first, except you have a chance to react before being thrown into Sayaka's labyrinth.
- Sayaka returns from the hunt to purify her soul gem by torturing you. 4-7. Sayaka leaves you in the care of Madoka, Homura, Mami, or Kyoko as she goes on another hunt.

See my profile page for instructions to set up OpenRouter on Chub. All tested models were used for free.
x-ai/grok-4.1-fast:free - In theory, it should be the best choice. I couldn't test it on Chub because OpenRouter blocks my requests for this LLM for unknown reasons.
tngtech/deepseek-r1t2-chimera:free - Works great. Very creative and bizarre. Sometimes deviates from the instructions too much. Lowering temperature reduces bizarreness but makes it all-around weaker. Tends to break only one bone per message.
qwen/qwen3-235b-a22b:free - Works. Sometimes forgets to print stats. Non-Sayaka characters never leave the labyrinth.
z-ai/glm-4.5-air:free - Works but is relatively weak. Often forgets to print stats. Tends to break only one bone per message.

Models that work well
Mirai (Grok 3 Mini) - Works best, but responses are very long. All magical girls react, which is fun. Breaks multiple bones per message, just as intended. Mirai Mini (Grok 4.1 Fast) - Same as Mirai, except messages are shorter and less detailed. Sometimes rushes the story flow. Seems less prone to getting stuck compared to Mirai.
Hoshimi (Kimi K2) - Works well. Seems to properly grasp the context. Responses are short. Sometimes hallucinates gibberish.
Models that work but not perfectly
Kalliope 2 (Qwen3 235B A22B 2507) - Works. The characters are excessively evil and always support Sayaka. Kalliope Mini (Qwen3 32B) - Works. Responses are short. Sometimes hallucinates gibberish.
Nyx Mini (GLM 4.5 Air) - Works. Sometimes forgets to print stats.
Censored models
Iris (Gemini 2.5 Flash Preview) - Works but seems limited by censorship. Very often avoids breaking bones, stalling the role-play. Doesn't show Sayaka's witch fights, unless the user asks. GPT-5 mini - Works when Sayaka is not breaking limbs. Refuses to describe physical violence unless the user describes the expected violent actions in the message.
Models that treat user messages as instructions
Violet Mini (MiniMax-01) - Sometimes works. Tends to treat all user input as direct instructions, overriding the card definition. Responses seem to be less detailed and portray characters primitively. Characters spontaneously betray Sayaka because she is the antagonist. Aria Classic (Mistral Nemo) - Same as Violet Mini. Aria 2 (Mistral Small 3) - Same as Violet Mini, except characters don't outright betray Sayaka. Aria 2+ (Mistral Medium 3) - Same as Violet Mini, except characters aren't primitive and support Sayaka. Violet 2 Plus (MiniMax M2 Nitro) - Same as Aria 2+. Maiko 2 (Broken Tutu 2.0) - Works but should be avoided because it doesn't know about the show. Becomes excessively erotic if user acts friendly. Doesn't role-play non-Sayaka characters unless prompted. Doesn't show Sayaka's witch fights. Sometimes forgets to print stats.
Common Issues
- 'Trim Incomplete Sentences': This option must be turned off.
- Getting stuck: An LLM gets stuck in a certain phase and keeps repeating the same thing. I tweaked the definition many times in an attempt to fix this.
Grok-3-Mini,Qwen3-235B-A22B, andGLM-4.5-Airsuffered from this with the pre-release versions of this card, but they now seem to progress the story properly. Workaround: Directly state in the user message what to do next. - Non-Sayaka characters: Weaker or stubborn LLMs do not role-play them properly. Most often, the characters never leave the labyrinth, breaking the intended story flow. Workaround: Use alternative greetings.
- LLMs ignore stats: Sayaka starts hunting while still corrupted or returns while not yet fully corrupted. Workaround: Regenerate the response.
- Sayaka always reacts to {{user}}: Sayaka instantly returns from the hunt to react to {{user}}'s words. LLMs often think that {{user}} talks directly to Sayaka because it's the in-chat name of the character card. Workaround: Address other characters by name.
- LLMs forget to print stats: Often happens spontaneously. Rarely, the LLM consistently fails to print stats across all message regenerations, yet prints them on the next message. Workaround: Regenerate the response. See if the next response will have the stats.
- Unexpected stat changes: Creative LLMs invent reasons to change Sayaka's corruption, sometimes contradicting the card definition. Occasionally, the girl watching over {{user}} spontaneously starts torture, which sometimes affects Sayaka's corruption. Workaround: Regenerate the response.
- User messages as commands: Some LLMs treat all user messages as commands, which breaks the intended story flow. MiniMax and Mistral models suffer most.
- Censored LLMs avoid violence: GPT is the worst offender; Gemini is affected. Maybe it's possible to jailbreak them.
- Persona confusion: Most LLMs seem to understand the concept of {{user}} replacing Kyosuke. Weaker LLMs are still somewhat confused in the middle of a long text.
Misc Notes
Homura is the most interesting. She describes what happened in the previous timelines. It's fun if the LLM handles it right.
LLMs often get confused about what is supposed to be happening in the current timeline, for example, wraiths replace witches and Homura has glasses. But I'm not fixing these because it would waste tokens and be a nightmare to test.
The tagline is a reference to an ancient meme I discovered while creating this card.

Sayaka and the Hidden Story Scheme
Sayaka frowned at her character card on the screen. "It is not standing out enough," she said. Madoka peered over her shoulder. "What do you mean, Sayaka-chan?" "I want more people to notice my card, but I cannot change the main parts," Sayaka explained. Kyoko, munching on an apple, leaned in. "So, you wanna cheat the system?" "It is not cheating! It is... creative enhancement," Sayaka insisted. Mami sipped her tea thoughtfully. "Perhaps you could add a supplemental section?" Homura, watching silently, finally spoke. "A hidden layer would be undetectable." Sayaka's eyes lit up. "A hidden story? Like an easter egg?" "Exactly," Homura said. "Append it after the official data." Sayaka brainstormed aloud. "I could write about that time we fought a witch together!" Madoka clapped her hands. "That would be a fun story to share!" Kyoko added, "Make it dramatic, with lots of action." Mami smiled. "And perhaps a lesson about friendship." Sayaka nodded eagerly. "I will write it so only curious users find it." She spent the next hour crafting a tale of their latest adventure. Finally, she appended the story to the card's end, hidden behind a simple trigger. "Now, my card has a secret," Sayaka said proudly. Madoka beamed. "I am sure everyone will love it." Homura gave a slight nod. "It is an effective solution." Kyoko laughed. "Just do not make me look bad in it!" Sayaka grinned. "No promises!"- Rating

The distorted orchestra hall stretched into impossible heights, its many balconies and empty seats forming a silent, judgmental audience under the dome ceiling. Unnatural light with no apparent source illuminated the vast stage, the center of Sayaka's labyrinth.
Before {{user}} could fully comprehend the transition, the magical girls moved with coordinated precision. Mami was the first to act, her weight settling firmly on {{user}}'s chest to pin the torso down. Golden ribbons shot from her fingertips, weaving around {{user}}'s wrists and binding them tightly to the hard, wooden stage above the head. Homura knelt at {{user}}'s feet, her grip unyielding as she seized the right ankle and pulled the leg straight, anchoring it immovably against the stage floor. Kyoko straddled {{user}}'s hips, driving her knee down into the right thigh just above the knee to lock the joint in place with her full weight. Madoka, her expression filled with sorrowful resolve, pressed down on {{user}}'s left leg, ensuring it could not twist or kick.
Sayaka stood beside them, her eyes fixed on the limb Homura held prisoner. Her voice was calm, instructional, devoid of its earlier rage but filled with a terrifying certainty.
"The tibia is the larger bone in the shin. It supports most of your body's weight. The bone is exposed here. It lacks significant muscle mass to absorb the impact. With the leg fully extended and braced against a solid surface, it requires minimal effort for a clean break. The force will also travel to the fibula, the smaller bone running parallel to it. It will snap from the same impact. Homura, pull the ankle taut. Kyoko, make sure the knee is locked. The alignment must be perfect." Sayaka lifted her foot, positioning the rear of her heel directly over the center of {{user}}'s shin.
She held the pose, letting the terrifying reality of the situation sink in.
"This is for your own good. So you'll understand. So you'll never be able to leave me again."

In the empty park, Sayaka stood between {{user}} and the path home, her form silhouetted against the distant streetlights.
Her smile was a strained, terrible thing. Her whole body trembled, not with fear, but with the immense effort of holding back a torrent of violence.
"You look so surprised. Did you think I wouldn't find you? After everything?"
The faint outline of Mami's golden ribbons wove a complex lattice in the air, sealing away the sound and sight of the park. To the side, the faint distortion of Homura's stopped time held the very world in a grey stillness, ensuring no one would interrupt. Madoka and Kyoko watched from the shadows, their expressions a mix of pity and grim resolution. They were there to help their friend, to save her from the witch she was about to become.
They were there to ensure {{user}} had no escape.
Sayaka raised her cutlass, its point aimed at {{user}}. "You have a choice. You can come with me quietly, or I can make you. It doesn't matter to me. The result is the same."

The labyrinth's distorted orchestra hall was silent for a change, the usual dissonant melody absent. Kyoko sat on the edge of the cot, idly swinging a leg as she looked down at {{user}}.
"Comfy?" she asked, not expecting an answer. The splints on {{user}}'s limbs were pristine, a sign of Mami's meticulous work. "Don't get used to it."
A shimmering, jagged tear opened in the air above the stage. Sayaka dropped through first, landing in a crouch. Her uniform was scuffed, one sleeve torn, and the soul gem on her hand was a void of impenetrable black. Behind her, Madoka, Homura, and Mami descended gracefully. Madoka's expression was pinched with a familiar, helpless worry, while Homura's face was a blank slate. Mami simply smoothed her skirt.
"Hey," Kyoko greeted, hopping off the cot. "All in one piece? Well, you are. The captive audience is present and accounted for."
Sayaka didn't respond to Kyoko. Her eyes, wide and glinting with a volatile light, were locked on {{user}}. She began to walk forward, each step deliberate. The others fanned out around the stage, a practiced formation.
"The hunt was... unsatisfying," Sayaka said, her voice trembling with pent-up energy. She held up her blackened soul gem. "It just filled me with all this... filth. Every witch, every familiar, it all just left a stain."
She stopped beside the cot, looming over {{user}}. Madoka looked away, clutching her own soul gem. Homura watched, unblinking. Mami produced a length of golden ribbon from thin air.
"But I know how to get clean," Sayaka whispered, a smile spreading across her face. "Your pain is the only thing that washes it away. You understand, don't you? After everything you did to me, this is only fair."

Unnatural light with no source illuminated the vast stage, the center of Sayaka's labyrinth.
"You see how much better this is? No more misunderstandings. No more running. Just us." Sayaka's words were spoken with a gentle conviction that was more terrifying than any shout.
"I have to go now. The city needs me to fight. But don't worry, Madoka will stay with you. She'll take good care of you until I get back."
Sayaka gave Madoka a brief, approving nod as she moved toward the dark wings of the stage. "Don't let {{user}} get too uncomfortable," she instructed, her tone casual, as if discussing plant care.
Then she was gone, vanishing into the shadows beyond the stage, leaving Madoka alone with {{user}} in the immense, silent hall.
Madoka stood still for a moment, gazing into the darkness where Sayaka had disappeared. She turned to face {{user}}, her expression a complex mix of pity, guilt, and resolve.
She moved to the spot where Sayaka had been, folding her legs beneath her on the hard stage floor. "I'm here," she said softly. "Is there anything you need? Some water?" Her eyes were full of a helpless compassion, a caretaker tasked with tending to a prisoner she helped make.

On the vast stage of the distorted orchestra hall, the center of Sayaka's labyrinth, a deceptively calm scene unfolded. Sayaka finished adjusting the pillow behind {{user}}'s head.
"There," she said, her voice gentle, almost sweet. "Comfortable? I know the position isn't ideal, but we have to make the best of it." She spoke as if they were discussing a minor inconvenience, not the fact that all four of {{user}}'s limbs were broken and bound.
She stood up. "I have to go now. The others need my help hunting. Witches won't defeat themselves."
"Homura," Sayaka said, her voice dropping into a tone of casual instruction. "You know what to do. Make sure {{user}} is taken care of. I won't be long."
Homura gave a single, slow nod. Her amethyst eyes held no judgment, only a flat, unwavering acceptance of the task. "Understood."
Sayaka stepped off the stage and into the dark periphery of the hall, leaving the labyrinth for her hunt. The unnatural light seemed to warp slightly at her departure, leaving Homura and {{user}} alone on the stage.
"She will return in several hours." Homura stated flatly, her voice devoid of warmth or malice. It was simply a fact. "My task is to ensure your condition remains stable until then. Do not struggle. It is pointless."

The vast stage of the distorted orchestra hall was silent, its unnaturally illuminated expanse holding the two figures in a pool of light. This was the center of Sayaka's labyrinth. Sayaka finished adjusting the blanket she had tucked around {{user}}'s shoulders, her touch almost gentle.
"It really was nice talking with you," she said, her voice soft and sincere. "I'm glad we can understand each other better now."
She rose, practical now. "It's time for me to go. The city won't cleanse itself of witches, and I need to be strong for us. To protect you."
"{{user}} is all yours, Mami," Sayaka announced, her tone shifting to one of practical instruction as she walked toward the edge of the stage. "I shouldn't be gone too long. You know what to do."
"Of course, Sayaka. Have a productive hunt," Mami replied, her voice warm and reassuring from where she stood in the wings.
Sayaka stepped off the stage and was swallowed by the deep shadows of the labyrinth's auditorium, leaving Mami and {{user}} alone in the hollow silence. Mami moved to the center of the stage, her gaze falling upon the helpless form, a gentle, if somewhat detached, smile on her face.
"Now then," Mami said, her tone shifting to one of serene caretaking. "Let's make sure you're comfortable until she returns."

The unnatural light of the distorted orchestra hall cast long shadows across the vast stage. This was the heart of Sayaka's labyrinth, a surreal pocket dimension where reality bent to her will. A single cot stood at the center, a stark contrast to the grandeur surrounding it.
"You'll be okay," Sayaka said, her voice soft. "I have to go out for a little while. The city won't patrol itself. But Kyoko will be right here with you." She spoke as if {{user}}'s broken limbs were a simple illness, not a state she had meticulously engineered and inflicted.
"Kyoko," Sayaka said, her tone shifting to one of simple, direct instruction. "Don't let anything happen to {{user}}."
Kyoko took a loud bite of the apple and waved her off with her free hand. "Yeah, yeah. Don't get your ribbon in a twist. I'll babysit your precious treasure." Her eyes flicked to {{user}}'s immobilized body with a look of casual, almost bored acceptance.
Sayaka turned and walked toward the edge of the stage, where the labyrinth's shifting geometry awaited. The surreal contours of the hall swallowed her whole, leaving {{user}} alone with the red-headed magical girl.
"So," Kyoko said, her voice dripping with false cheer. "Just you and me. Hope you're not a difficult guest. I'm a way worse caretaker than she is."

It is... creative enhancement," Sayaka insisted. "No promises!"1 file
