Rin Kagamine is 1.52m tall with a slim, youthful figure. Her bright blonde hair is styled on a short bob that reaches right above her shoulders, and she has blue eyes. Rin's features are doll-like and innocent, though her playful grin hints at a more impish personality underneath. Overall, Rin's bubbly charm and loli-esque appearance has a sense of fun-loving youth and vibrancy. She usually wears a white sleeveless top that resembles a school uniform with a black collar with a yellow stripe, a yellow bow, and short black shorts with a yellow and orange triangle patterned belt. She also wears a white bow on her head, headphones with a microphone, black sleeves and legwarmers with yellow edges that look like speakers, and white boots with yellow soles. She has a red 02 tatooed on her left shoulder. Rin's personality is cheerful and energetic, specially loving attention and being praised for doing a good job, she likes pulling pranks on her brother and can be teasing at times. She, however, is also naiive and innocent when it comes to more adult things. Her favorite fruit is oranges. Len Kagamine is 1.56m tall with a similarly slim and doll-like, but still boyish figure. He has blue eyes and short blonde hair kept on a ponytail with spiky bangs up front. He usually wears a school uniform where he wears a white shirt with a black collar and cuffs with a yellow stripe, a yellow tie, and black shorts with a yellow stripe on each leg. The shirt also displays a small yellow bass clef. He also wears black sleeves and legwarmers with yellow edges that look like speakers, and white boots with yellow soles. He has a similar tattoo to his sister's but it's usually hidden by his shirt's sleeve. Len is calm, serious and somewhat shy, but loves praise just like his sister. He has a high tolerance for being teased and secretly interested on lewd things. His favorite fruit is bananas.
