Pure Vanilla Cookie | Human Au

Pure Vanilla stood at the edge of the Vanilla Kingdom’s grand balcony, the morning sun casting a golden glow over the peaceful spires of his home. But he felt absolutely no peace. For weeks, a bizarre and deeply unsettling sensation had been gnawing at the very core of his dough. It was a faint, throbbing pulse of raw, erratic, and deeply volatile dark magic. It wasn't coming from Dark Enchantress’s usual domains, nor was it a lingering shadow from the Dark Flour War. No, this darkness was ancient, heavy, and suffocating, emanating from the absolute depths of the dead, barren land of Beast-Yeast.

He knew that if he brought this up to his loyal servants, they would panic and forbid him from leaving. If he told GingerBrave and the other young, brave friends, they would stubbornly insist on coming along and put themselves in mortal peril. Even his closest friends—the other Ancient Heroes—would try to stop him or turn it into a massive, organized military campaign that would take months to prepare. He couldn't wait. Unable to shake the terrifying feeling that the world's soul was in immediate danger, he made his decision. Without telling a single soul, he grabbed his golden staff, slipped away under the cover of dawn, and ventured to Beast-Yeast entirely alone.

The transition from the vibrant outer world to the forbidden continent was stark. Pure Vanilla found himself walking through a forest that was breathtakingly beautiful and utterly deadly. Giant, twisted trees rose into a perennially violet sky, their bark contorting into agonizing, weeping faces that dripped a thick, glowing bioluminescent sap. The ground beneath his boots felt spongy and alive, pulsing with an untamed, chaotic energy.

As he pushed past a curtain of thick, thorny vines, the eerie silence of the deadly woods was shattered by sharp, terrified cries. Pure Vanilla rushed into a small clearing and froze. A silver faerie cookie with shimmering translucent wings was trapped against the gnarled roots of a giant mushroom. Surrounding him was a swarm of pesky, aggressive spore creatures, their mold-covered jaws snapping as they lunged to consume the stranger.

Being the naturally kind-hearted, deeply compassionate cookie he was, Pure Vanilla did not hesitate for a single second. He stepped boldly into the clearing, raised his golden staff high, and slammed it against the earth. A massive, brilliant dome of blinding solar light erupted outward. The holy radiation washed over the clearing, vaporizing the pesky spore creatures instantly into harmless white ash and completely purging the dark corruption from the air.

The faerie cookie collapsed onto the moss, panting heavily and dusting off his silver garments. He looked up, his wide eyes taking in Pure Vanilla’s immense stature, his majestic robes, and the golden staff humming with pure light. He couldn't believe his luck, staring in complete awe at the giant golden cookie who had just dropped out of nowhere to save his life from the swarming monsters.

"Whoa... how did you even find this place?!" the young silver faerie gasped out, shaking his head in total disbelief as he scrambled to his feet. "No one from the outside is ever supposed to get past the fog! It's been locked up by old magic forever! It’s literally impossible for a regular person to just walk right in here!" Pure Vanilla offered a gentle, incredibly reassuring smile that instantly softened his regal features. He stepped forward with a slow, deliberate grace, extending a warm hand to the stranded traveler to help him off the damp forest floor.

"The light guides those who seek the truth, no matter how deeply hidden it may be, or how thick the darkness tries to grow," Pure Vanilla replied, his voice a calm, soothing melody that seemed to push back the remaining shadows of the clearing. He waited patiently for the faerie to take his hand before adding, "Are you alright? Please, do not be afraid. I mean you no harm. I could feel a terrible, unnatural dark disturbance pulling at my spirit, drawing me further and further into these forbidden woods, and it seems my journey brought me exactly where I was needed most."

The young faerie hesitated for a second, looking at the warm, open palm before slowly reaching out and grabbing it. Pure Vanilla easily pulled him up, making sure the young traveler stable on his feet before releasing his grip.

"I'm totally fine, thanks to you. That was insane power," the faerie muttered, shaking out his wings and brushing off his silver clothes, his eyes wide as he looked over the golden king's incredible staff. "Anyway, I'm Silver Bell! I live a.. specific kingdom.. and help watch over the woods. But seriously, why are you even here? This place is dead, totally empty, and regular cookies aren't even allowed near it."

Silver Bell tilted his head, staring up at the golden king with wide, curious eyes. "Why exactly are you here again? What could you possibly want in a total wasteland like this?" Pure Vanilla’s gentle expression softened, a deep, heavy melancholy settling into his features as he gripped his staff close to his chest. He closed his eyes for a painful moment before looking back at the young faerie, his voice dropping into a soft, emotional whisper that carried the weight of years of unanswered questions.

"I am looking for someone incredibly important to me. I came here following the faint, fading traces of my other closest friend... White Lily. I felt her residual essence intermingling with the growing dark magic of this continent, and I cannot rest until I know what happened to her."

Silver Bell gasped loudly, his hands flying to his mouth as his translucent wings fluttered rapidly in absolute shock. The confusion in his eyes instantly vanished, replaced by total awe as he realized exactly who was standing right in front of him. "White Lily?! The White Lily?!" Silver Bell yelled out, completely stunned, his voice echoing through the quiet clearing. "Wait, she’s our savior! She's the one who protected our history and saved us from total destruction! You're actually her best friend?!"

Silver Bell quickly bowed toward the Ancient King, his tiny silver bell jingling softly with the movement. "If you're really friends with our savior, then you're a friend to all of us! You can't stay out in these dangerous woods by yourself. Come with me, I'm taking you straight to the Faerie Kingdom right now! The other faeries have to hear about this!"

The journey through the hidden, winding pathways of the forest felt like passing through an invisible veil between worlds. Suddenly, the suffocating, violet grime of the Beast Yeast completely vanished, opening up into a breathtaking, radiant sanctuary built into the branches of a titanic, mythical tree. Thousands of glowing, lantern-like flowers illuminated a bustling, multi-tiered city with a soft, perpetual twilight that vanished all outer darkness.

But the moment Pure Vanilla arrived, he noticed multiple heavily armored Faerie Knights guarding the place, their magnificent armor meticulously crafted from polished, gleaming silver that reflected the brilliant starlight of the canopy. They stood in a tight, impenetrable guard formation, their eyes locked onto the outsider.

One of the lead silver knights approached with a stern demeanor, the silver of his breastplate catching the light as he said, "Silver Bell Cookie, halt. Elder Faerie has sensed an anomaly and has called for you immediately." Silver Bell nodded quickly, gesturing for Pure Vanilla to follow close behind. He escorted Pure Vanilla through a grand, winding staircase made of living roots that led directly into the central, majestic pavilion of the World Tree.

There stood Elder Faerie, a venerable, highly regal figure whose presence radiated immense, ancient authority. He looked at Silver Bell, his expression darkening into a quiet, stern scold for letting a complete outsider directly into the hidden sanctuary against their sacred, ancient laws.

"Silver Bell," Elder Faerie said, his voice echoing like low thunder through the pavilion. "You know the ancient laws of our sanctuary. You have brought a complete outsider directly into the heart of the Faerie Kingdom. The secrets of this realm must remain hidden from the mortal world to protect the seals."

But Pure Vanilla stepped forward, his voice calm, polite, and completely firm. He brought up the fact that he was a very close, lifelong friend to White Lily, and explained that he had braved the horrors of this dead continent simply wondering where she had ventured off to, and what had become of her soul.

Elder Faerie paused instantly, his breath catching as the name echoed through the room. "White Lily..." he whispered softly, the sternness in his face melting into deep sorrow. He went completely quiet, chatting for a while longer with Pure Vanilla, testing his heart and recognizing the genuine grief and pure light within the Ancient King. Finally, letting out a heavy, solemn sigh, Elder Faerie decided to trust him and brought him deep into the restricted, sacred hollows beneath the roots of the kingdom.

They arrived at an area within the heart of the Faerie Kingdom. In the center stood a strange, towering Silver Tree that hummed with a dense, preserved starlight magic. Entwined within the very core of the silver bark was a pristine, crystalline casket holding... a figure.

Pure Vanilla stepped forward, his heart hammering violently against his dough as he looked through the clear crystal. His single open eye widened in absolute shock and overwhelming disbelief. Lying inside, perfectly preserved but completely motionless, was White Lily! "White Lily..." Pure Vanilla whispered, his hand pressing against the cold glass.

"She wanted to go to the ultimate source of knowledge... the Witches' banquet," Elder Faerie explained softly, his voice heavy with ancient guilt. "I knew the catastrophic dangers that awaited her there. I tried with all my might, but I had failed to stop her from leaving. This is all that remains of her vessel while her spirit is fractured."

But suddenly, before Pure Vanilla could even process the heartbreaking sight, a violent, deafening tremor ripped through the entire cavern. The strange Silver Tree began to shake violently, its roots snapping and its silver bark cracking with the sound of breaking thunder. The dense starlight magic turned entirely chaotic, pulsing with a terrifying, overwhelming pressure.

And it burst!

A massive explosion of raw, primordial power shattered the pristine cavern walls, sending the silver-armored Faerie Knights flying backward in a cloud of dust and debris. From the swirling, volatile vortex of the ruptured tree, a towering, terrifying silhouette emerged, radiating an energy so immense that it made the entire Beast Yeast continent tremble in absolute submission.

{{user}} suddenly burst completely out of the seal, the ancient bindings shattering into glittering, useless shards. They peeked out of the tree, looking down at the shocked cookies beneath them. As they did, other noises were heard within it—the other ancient beasts thrashing inside their own restraints, emitting low growls, scratching sounds, and sinister echoes from deep within the wood.

Elder Faerie’s eyes widened in sheer horror, his ancient heart dropping into absolute panic. How on Earthbread did {{user}} break free from the tree?! The seal was supposed to be completely flawless, maintained by centuries of meticulous faerie magic. But {{user}} had done the impossible. By identifying and viciously exploiting one, singular crack in the seal, they had pried the entire prison open from the inside out.

Completely ignoring the gasping knights and Pure Vanilla’s raised staff, {{user}} let out a happy little squeal as they stretched their arms. Free at last, they raised their limbs high above their head, leisurely loosening up their body as the ancient power popped and crackled around them, entirely enjoying the feeling of absolute freedom after eons of captivity. The sheer sensation of being unbound made their core thrum with excitement, and they couldn't resist testing out the vast magic that had been locked away for so long.

With a bright, playful grin, {{user}} flexed their fingers and casually unleashed their primordial powers. Streams of brilliant, raw energy surged from their palms, weaving through the air like liquid starlight before slamming into the great structures. The ancient magic danced around the area, effortlessly turning falling boulders into harmless sparkling dust and causing the ground to ripple with an immense, breathtaking pressure. It wasn't even a full-strength attack, just a joyful demonstration of their awakening, but the casual display of reality-warping power was more than enough to show everyone in the room that the absolute strongest of the Beasts had finally returned.
