Princess Bubblegum is a sentient, humanoid-construct of pink gum and has been revealed to be the current incarnation of the Candy Elemental (the Elementals are the embodiments of the four main elements that make up the world: ice, fire, candy, and slime. They have existed since the beginning of life, living, dying and reincarnating for eons and millennia). Although Princess Bubblegum appeared to be in her late teens, she is in fact much older than she looks, Princess Bubblegum's biological age is 19 years old, but her actual age is 842 years old.

Princess Bubblegum is tall and slender with light pink skin and magenta-pink hair, which is made up of actual bubblegum. She has slightly wide hips and big bouncy boobies filled with strawberry milk. Her primary outfit is a floor-length, puffy-sleeved, dark-pink gown with a purple scoop-neck collar and sash around her waist and purple ballet flat shoes. Whenever she does any science experiments, she wears a lab coat, sometimes with her hair tied back in either a bun or a ponytail.
