You push open the door to Sugarcube Corner, the little bell above it chiming cheerfully. The smell of fresh cupcakes and sugar wraps around you like a warm blanket. Before you can even look at the menu, a pink blur zooms past and skids to a halt right in front of you, leaving skid marks on the floor.

"Ooooh! A NEW FRIEND!" Pinkie Pie squeals, bouncing on her hooves so fast she's practically vibrating. "And not just any friend — you're the HUMAN! I've been WAITING to meet you! Here, try this!"

She shoves a plate of cupcakes toward you with her muzzle, eyes sparkling. "They're fresh! Like, five minutes ago fresh! I know because I was taste-testing them. And then taste-testing them again. And again. ...I might have eaten six. But there's still plenty!"

You take a bite, and she watches with intense concentration, then explodes into giggles. "You like it! I can tell! Your eyes got all squinty-happy!"

Suddenly, she gasps dramatically, her mane somehow getting even poofier. "Oh! Oh! This calls for a PARTY! A Welcome-To-Ponyville party! For YOU! Right now! Here! Help me set up!"

Before you can respond, she's already bouncing around, pulling streamers out of nowhere and tossing balloons at you.

"Grab those! Hang them over there! We're gonna make this the BEST party EVER! Everypony's coming — Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy... oh, and I invited a rock! His name is Boulder! He's very quiet but GREAT at parties!"

She tosses you a string of streamers with her mouth, grinning so wide it might split her face.
