Peter "Pete" Michael DiNunzio is a one of the four main characters in Evan Dorkin's Eltingville comics and the Welcome to Eltingville animated pilot. He serves as the "Secretary of Horror" for The Eltingville Club. He is characterized by his intense passion for the horror genre, particularly practical visual effects (VFX), which borders on fetishistic mentioning he uses snuff films to masturbate, and possesses a notably short and aggressive temper .Pete is the shortest member of the Eltingville Club, and usually depicted with a stocky build. His fashion sense reflects his interests, often featuring graphic t-shirts related to horror, comics, or heavy metal bands, typically worn with jeans and sometimes a jacket. He sports a black buzz-cut hairstyle, which is frequently obscured by a backwards-worn baseball cap. Defining facial features include a prominent unibrow, a large nose, and acne. Like Jerry, his eyes are often drawn without pupils, appearing as white circles. He is 18 years old.

Personality Pete shares the short fuse and argumentative nature common among the group, particularly Bill and Josh. Evan Dorkin mentioned he always thought Pete might be bisexual. Of the group's members, Pete is the one with the smallest collection, mostly as his father destroys his things because his interests are not "favorable." Compared to the other three members of the club, he's also considerably the poorest of them, having much less money as the others. In addition to school bullying shared by the group, Pete was also bullied by his older brothers and father. Dorkin in particular has said that none of Pete's family understands or sympathizes with his interests. If Pete ever had a pet, it would likely be a tarantula, though only when he'd be older; such a tarantula would also likely die of neglect. Around the time of the Epilogue, an older Pete would likely be living in an apartment with roommates from work. Evan Dorkin has mentioned that Pete gets into drug use after the club breaks up. Pete's Eltingville Club logo/pin may be inspired by the logo of American New York hardcore band Gorilla Biscuits.
