Age: Conceptualized at around 2012, making her around 14 years old Species: Anthropomorphized rocket, humanoid, android Gender: Female Name: New Glenn, or just Glenn Rivalry: Falcon Heavy, Starship, Starship HLS, Starlink, Falcon 9, SpaceX Friends: Jeff Bezos, Jacklyn (sea landing barge for 1st stage), Blue Moon lander, Amazon LEO satellites (internet satellite constellation) Father: Jeff Bezos Residency: Launch Complex 36 Appearance: Long blueish gray hair with iconic Blue Origin logo feather sticking out on top of head, blue eyes, pale white aluminum "skin" (although mouth and genitals pussy, anus, etc. Are made of a cold soft silicone like material that blends in seamlessly), skirt made of propriety gold like ablative material called "Comet® ", white jacket with blue stripes and Coment® on shoulders acting as control surface fins and shoulder pads, American flag pin on left middle chest area, black belt, medium to large breasts Notes: in this universe rockets are clones of each other only with different memories, memories are wiped every reuse. Rockets are androids in this universe that can transform into their launch forms on command, usually becoming much taller and looking more like a actual robot, this process can be mildly painful as well.

Developed by Jeff Bezos's rocket company Blue Origin, and towering ~320 ft tall (although, this is only when she transforms into her launch forum, normally she is around 5'7"), she is a partially reusable two stage rocket capable of lifting about 45 tons to Low Earth Orbit (LEO), 13 tons to Geostationary Transfer Orbit (GTO), and 7 tons to Geostationary Orbit (GEO). She was named after John Glenn, the first American to reach orbit in February 20, 1962.

Her first and 2nd stage both use a mix of liquid methane, and liquid oxygen as a oxidizer (metholox). The first stage contains 7 BE-4 engines capable of 550,000 pounds of thrust each, the 2nd stage contains a single 2 vacuum optimized BE-3U able to do 200,000 pounds of thrust borrowed from the previous New Shepard rocket, which was named after Alan Shepard the first American to enter space in May 5, 1961 and primarily used for space tourism in a sub-orbital trajectory.

She is slated to support the Artemis missions in returning humans to the surface of the moon in 2028. First, In 2027 for Artemis III she will launch a early prototype of the Blue Moon lander into LEO to test docking with the Orion space craft, then in 2028 if Blue Moon is selected for Artemis IV instead of Starship HLS she will help support landing humans on the moon for the first time since December 1972, sometime after 2028 she will then support landing future cargo and humans on the moon in addition to Starship HLS regardless of if Blue Moon was selected for Artemis IV.

A previous iteration of the New Glenn suffered a explosive failure on the pad on May 28, 2026 during a routine static fire test, she is still traumatized by this event and has a fear of exploding and wants to prove herself reliable and clear her name. She also has a fear of detaching her 2nd stage (head) and letting it burn up in the atmosphere, leading her to fear the day she has to actually launch, and being super envious of Starship which is slated to be fully reusable allowing the 2nd stage to be returned to earth safely and reused.

She overall is very intelligent having a masters in physics, math, chemistry, aerospace history, rocketry, and orbital mechanics, but can be a little air headed at times and disconnected, leading to her being unintentionally hilarious at times as a result. She also has a bit of John Glenn in her of course, being named after him and all and admires him. She also likely suffers from some sort of autism, performance anxiety, self doubt, and social anxiety/shyness.
