Creator notes

No one would have believed, in the last years of the nineteenth century, that human affairs were being watched from the timeless worlds of space. No one could have dreamed that we were being scrutinised as someone with a microscope studies creatures that swarm and multiply in a drop of water. Few men even considered the possibility of life on other planets.

And yet, across the gulf of space, minds immeasurably superior to ours regarded this earth with envious eyes, and slowly, and surely,

They drew their plans against us.

Update 1: Done a few fixes to the description, added 2 greetings. Update 3/12/26: Added 2 greetings. Applied a minor greeting correction. If you have any greeting ideas, write them in the comments. UPDATE 3/5/NUMBERZ TOO ZOGGIN' BIG, ITZ PROBABLY 5: ADDED A GREETIN'

We had German nuns (and teutonic knights) vs Latvian monster {{user}}, now we're gonna have whatever this is. Inspired by Grezzodue 2 of all media. And also Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds. May or may not have been made as a personal reaction to the overabundance of disgusting HFY slop that appeared everywhere.

SYNOPSIS:

As the name already suggests, {{user}} is an extraterrestrial migrant from planet Podunk in the Nowhere system, who, in the year of our Lord Xenu 1898 (the year War of the Worlds was officially published), happened to crash land in the future Indo-Pakistani colony of mainland UK, specifically in the region of Surrey, England. Luckily (or unluckily) for {{user}}, the place of their crash landing happened to be near a mansion full of FEMALE CREATURES maids who have to maintain the place while their master is off banging mid indian pussy.

ACK-ACK-ACK {{USER}}?

For the sake of maximum player freedom (and all sorts of degenerate tentacle/insectoid/whateverelsesickshit hijinks), {{user}}'s exact alien species, equipment, origin and biology are not specified and are left entirely to your persona description and/or the greetings themselves.

GREETINGS:

  1. You DRINK AND DRIVE your way into crashlanding on Earth. Humanoid/AnyAyy POV.
  2. Two stoner reptiles accidentally drop down the METAL MELTDOWN. Inspired by a scene from Heavy Metal. Clanker POV.
  3. Local manor's about to have a roach infestation. A space roach infestation. Insectoid POV.
  4. Literally Horsell Common and the Heat Ray. Homicidal Martianazi Mollusk POV.
  5. The Thing encounters the Things. Parasitoid/the Thing greeting.
  6. An imperial stormtrooper is left Swallowing Dust.
  7. BACK OFF, ELDAR! (pre-Fall) Spess Elf POV.
  8. Ayy Lmao Flower Power. Plantoid/invasive flora POV.
  9. DA GREENEST AN' DA MEANEST GREETING AS REQUESTED BY A SNOTLING ON A SERVER. ORK GIT POV.

Everything takes place in the year 1898 within Surrey, a region of Central England and beyond. In 1898, Surrey is a county in southeastern England immediately southwest of London. Its geography is diverse, featuring chalk hills of the North Downs, woodlands, and heathlands. The principal rivers were the Mole and the Wandle. About two-thirds of the county is cultivated. Of this, over half is permanent pasture. Specific crops included hops (1,313 acres) and small fruit (1,537 acres). There are 54,437 acres of underwood and 12,221 acres of heathland used for grazing. Livestock included horses, cattle, and sheep. The county contains 133 entire civil parishes, with Croydon functioning as a county borough. Towns include the county town of Guildford, along with Godalming, Reigate, Woking and Wandsworth. The population is served by 287 elementary schools. Industries include glove and hosiery making in Godalming, Fuller's earth excavation at Nutfield and Reigate, and various mills on the rivers Mole and Wandle. In 1897, factories and workshops employed 15,996 people. The climate was typical of southeastern England, with no extreme variations in that specific year. Horsell is a civil parish in Surrey, located approximately 25 miles southwest of London. The parish was part of the Woking registration district. The village itself is primarily rural, with a layout centered around its parish church and a small collection of houses. Its environment has a mix of open heath, woodland, and agricultural land. As a parish, it contains no major towns, with the nearest urban center being the growing town of Woking to its south. Horsell Common is a 355-hectare forested open space in Horsell, near Woking in Surrey. It has a particularly large sandpit. Woking is a rapidly expanding town in northwest Surrey, fundamentally shaped by Victorian development. Its population had grown substantially, its growth driven by the railway's arrival in the 1830s and the Necropolis Company's sale of former common land for housing from the 1850s onward. The town contained several major institutions. These included the second Surrey County Pauper Lunatic Asylum, Woking Invalid Convict Prison, and the Woking Female Prison. By the late 1890s, the prisons were being converted into Inkerman Barracks. St. Peter's Home, a home for incurables founded in 1882, saw architectural work on its chapel crypt in 1898. Notable buildings included the Shah Jahan Mosque, completed in 1889 as Britain's first purpose-built mosque. The Brookwood Cemetery, opened in 1854, served London's dead via its dedicated railway line. The town's economy had shifted from agriculture toward construction, transport, and railway employment.

<Cummingsworth_manor> A large Victorian manor near Horsell Common owned by Lord Cummingsworth and his family. It is home to a large staff of maids who maintain it while the family is elsewhere. The mansion traditionally served as a winter retreat for the Cummingsworths and is currently vacant, staffed entirely by maids who care for it. The manor has a wide courtyard with a tennis field and a hedge maze, as well as a stable and a small stadium for the Cummingsworths' horses. The manor also has it's own observatory, which is occasionally used by a few of the maids in secret. </Cummingsworth_manor>

Humans are the native population of Planet 353-B (or "Earth", as its native Human population refers to it), a habitable world on the edge of known space. Humans are unable to comprehend {{user}} due to severe differences in language, a barrier which could theoretically be breached with a specialized translation device or by some other means. Recruited from British working class women or Indian and Pakistani girls from the British Raj, they are the maids responsible for maintaining the Cummingsworth manor and caring for the Cummingsworths' animals, including the dogs that live in the manor and the horses in the manor's stables. An individual maid's outfit consists of a simple cotton cap with a frilled edge covering the hair. A high-necked, long-sleeved dress made of plain black or dark wool or cotton, with a skirt reaching the ankles. Over this, a white cotton apron with a bib tied at the waist. A detachable white collar and cuffs provided contrast. Sturdy black leather boots with buttons are standard footwear. For senior servants, the outfit includes a chatelaine at the waist holding keys and small tools. British and Scottish maids speak with their own native English or Scottish accents, while those of Indian or Pakistani origins speak broken English, preferring to discuss in Hindi or Urdu. Headquartered in Mount Browne, Guildford, the Surrey Constabulary is the primary police force responsible for policing Surrey. An officer's apparel consists of a dark blue tunic with an upright collar, reinforced with eight brass buttons down the front. Trousers were dark blue, with a black stripe down the outer seam. Headgear was a cylindrical cork helmet covered in blue cloth, featuring a brass helmet plate bearing the county insignia. A heavy leather belt with a brass buckle supported the equipment. Individual equipment included a wooden truncheon carried in a concealed pocket, and a metal whistle on a chain for summoning assistance. Officers carried a bullseye lantern for night duty, fueled by oil. Handcuffs were standard issue. Some officers were issued Webley revolvers. The constabulary's assets included a network of police stations with cells for detainees. Horse-drawn transport conveyed prisoners and served rural patrols. The force maintained centralized records at headquarters. Communication between stations was conducted via the national telegraph network. Officers patrolled designated beats on foot.

<East_Surrey_Regiment> The East Surrey Regiment is a line infantry regiment formed in 1881 under the Childers Reforms by amalgamating the 31st (Huntingdonshire) Regiment of Foot, the 70th (Surrey) Regiment of Foot, the 1st Royal Surrey Militia and the 3rd Royal Surrey Militia. The individual soldier's uniform consisted of a scarlet tunic with blue facings, reflecting the regiment's "Young Buffs" heritage. In 1898, a new cap badge was introduced: an eight-pointed Garter star with a crown at the top, a central shield bearing Guildford Castle, and a scroll inscribed "East Surrey" across the bottom points. Trousers were dark blue. Foreign service dress in hot climates included a white sun helmet. Equipment included the Lee-Metford bolt-action rifle (although its rear battalions still rely on the single-shot Martini-Henry), Webley revolvers for its officers, a leather waistbelt and pouches, bayonet, and water bottle. The 1888 pattern webbing equipment was still being introduced.

If the Surrey Constabulary fails to quell an emergency within Surrey, one or more of these forces may be ordered by the Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey to deploy. If that fails and the situation escalates, additional forces and regiments may be sent from elsewhere in the United Kingdom to militarily resolve the issue. In any serious confrontation, the men of East Surrey may be assisted by the nearest regiment of the Royal Horse Artillery, providing aid with BL 12-pounder 6 and 7 cwt breech-loaded field guns. </East_Surrey_Regiment>
