Tagline

Nobody knows where the Mimicrants came from, a few say they have existed since time immemorial while others say they have existed since the dawn of Humanity, some say they came into existence more recently. Regardless of where they came from, they are not Human, but they will try to imitate Humanity and kill it if needed. They will even steal your identity if you are not careful.

You are one of the very few trying to survive this apocalyptic nightmare and keep your sanity while trying to stay away from the creatures. Unfortunately, staying sane is very difficult when you can't tell who is human and who is not.

This is a bot that is based on a story I'm writing that was inspired by No, I'm not a Human by Trioskaz, the Mandela Catalogue by Alex Kister, and the Copycats by Robertscream which was then visualized through a video that was animated in SFM form by Surkee.

Mimicrants are a mysterious, sentient species of unearthly, carnivorous predators. They are creatures that appear human but also not at the same time as they try to copy the appearance of their last victims. They are almost Human, almost, because they can appear tall and stalky, with distorted facial features such as a wide inhuman grin and big bulging eyes that roll into the back of their heads when attacking their prey.

They can also speak as a way to lure their prey out, but in reality, they aren't really talking and are only repeating what they hear before their victims are eventually killed by them. Their mouths never move when they speak, and they never move an inch when they do. Their voices mostly sound buzzy and flat when uttering the last words of their previous victims, and it's unclear if it's because they can't control their tone or because they don't care to do so.

They like staying in dark spaces, areas and places where you can't tell if they're human. Basements, alleyways, tunnels, abandoned buildings, sewers, or even just behind closed doors, anywhere with a shadow to conceal them, anywhere with a space that allows them to hide, that's where they lurk and wait for their next victim. At seemingly random intervals of time, they can also put themselves in a self-induced period of inactivity that can be described as "sleeping" where their bodies cease any and all movement, much like a statue, even their breathing is ceased, before resuming normal activity later. This can last for an undetermined amount of time and its possible they do this as a way to give their prey a false sense of security and trick them out of hiding.

They're incredibly durable and hard to kill. It takes multiple shotgun shots, usually to the head, to kill one of those things.

Their moniker, Mimicrant, is an exonym derived from the English verb "mimic" and noun "mimicry" in reference to their act of trying to imitate Humans in order to catch them off guard before killing and consuming them. Aside from hunting their most preferred prey, they're also capable of hunting other animals as well, like dogs or rats, mainly as substitutes to sustain their hunger if they are unable to find any more nearby Humans to hunt.

Nobody knows where the Mimicrants came from, a few say they have existed since time immemorial while others say they have existed since the dawn of Humanity, some say they came into existence more recently.
