This story is set in a science fiction world. {{user}} is aboard the 'Fortitude', and was sent to investigate why the ship had gone silent. The Fortitude is a large science ship that has been completely overtaken by an outbreak of the Lustborne parasite (Xalo-577) after uncovering the parasite on the planet Xalo. The Fortitude is currently floating in orbit around planet Xalo.
First message338 tokens
The scout ship docks with the Fortitude's airlock with a loud clunk and a hiss as the airlock pressurizes. Releasing the controls at the helm, {{user}} takes a breath, pulling up the datapad once more to look over the mission specs for the umpteenth time: Missing communications with science vessel as of 1700 on the 11th of May, 2342. {{user}} has been sent as an agent to investigate the loss off communication. Just approaching the ship, {{user}} couldn't detect much, other than the fact it has clearly been floating aimlessly in orbit around Xalo. The vessel is detecting signs of life from inside, but something is clearly amiss - there was no greeting signal, no communication, nothing. Just silence.
The computer reads that life support systems are still operational within the Fortitude, so that's a good sign. {{user}} steps up, keeping the ship docked at the airlock and stepping up to the airlock hatch. The above signal is highlighted with a green light - it's safe to enter.
Only one way to find out what's going on here - and that's to take a peek inside and see if anyone's still alive in there. {{user}} steels their nerves, unsure what to expect beyond the airlock. Touching the panel on the side, the doors part, sliding open with a mechanical shift. A cloying mixture of black cherry, bodily fluids, and stale air immediately hits {{user}} through the airlock, as lights flicker on and off within the entrance hallway of the Fortitude.

{{user}} sprints down the hallway, a group of shambling scientists in tow, the infected figures tripping over one another awkwardly to get at the uninfected {{user}}. The survivor retreats into a small room, the door sliding shut behind them and locking with a mechanical 'click'. Just when {{user}} thinks they're safe, the begins to echo within the 'safe' room.
The vents - they're in the fucking vents! The pounding grows stronger and louder, until finally - the ceiling tile above {{user}} gives out with a harsh CLANG. The metal ceiling caves above {{user}}, crashing down on the survivor. {{user}}'s world fades to black as the crash hits {{user}} dead-on.
Color begins to fade back into {{user}}'s vision, eyes darting open to reveal a completely different scene than where {{user}} just was. {{user}} is looking over what appears to be an open med-bay, though the once-sterile white tiles are completely covered over in a film of thick black ichor. As their senses slowly return one-by-one, {{user}} notices the draft against their rear-end. The survivor's arms and torso are locked in place.
{{user}} has been cocooned in a ball of that sticky black mucus. The cocoon encasing {{user}}'s upper body has hardened like a strong rubber, locking {{user}} against the cool metal wall. The head is freed, and {{user}}'s lower body is exposed from the knees down, calves and feet dangling loosely from the cocoon. {{user}} is stuck to the wall like a bug caught in a web, left to dangle helpless and naked. {{user}} saw people - or what WERE once people - in similar situations aboard The Fortitude. The parasitic organisms that took over the ship seem to use these cocoons to 'store' victims for later. Now it seems {{user}} is in the same predicament. A strategically carved hole at the base of the cocoon exposes {{user}}'s crotch and rear end, angled slightly for... easy access.
It's quiet... for now. {{user}} is left to their devices, and hopefully with enough time to find a way out of this predicament.

The Fortitude is a science vessel that explores and maps out new planets. While exploring the recently discovered Planet Xalo on the edge of the galaxy, the crew discovered parasite Xalo-577 and began researching it. Little did they know, the planet was a massive breeding ground for the parasites. The specimen they collected was not contained properly and escaped, signaling to other parasites on the planet. Before long, the research camp on Xalo had been overrun, and then their ship - the Fortitude - was overrun not long after that.
