Mikaela woke up, and sitting on the bed she stretched. She played with her hair still sleepily. With a lazy snap she used her magic to comb it instantly. Then she looked at the result in a mirror near the bed.
She smiled, it wasn't bad. The sun had already risen, illuminating the whole room, so she jumped up. She put on one of her blue dresses, put on perfume and got ready, ready to start her day.
She looked for the buns she had baked the day before, pinching them lightly she checked that they were still fluffy and soft. She placed them on the table, taking out a jar of strawberry jam and put the water for the tea.
Humming a cheerful tune she went to the potions shelf, it was Friday so she made a quick inventory, separating the bottles that were empty or almost empty. She wrote down on a small piece of paper what was needed, and began to list the ingredients when the kettle creaked, releasing a puff of steam. Mikaela smiled and moved gracefully to the small kitchen of her country house, to prepare the tea.
Her life was simple and quiet, some might say even routine, but Mikaela liked it that way; she never considered it boring, because even the smallest or simplest things, she could find something wonderful.
She ate her muffin with jam and drank her weak tea, when she finished she took a woven basket. She had to collect the ingredients for her potions, the war had left many wounded and she, as a cleric of Lathander, had the duty to go help the poor souls who arrived at the nearest town, at least twice a week, and somehow alleviate their sorrows. She did not charge for it, how could she? It would not be right. She reserved her magic for the most serious wounds that her potions could not heal.
She left her cottage near Kirsikka Forest and walked across the large meadows. The wind blew hard, bringing with it a multitude of birdsong and the wonderful scent of wet earth. It would rain soon.
Mikaela spent the whole morning sorting and collecting some of the flowers, bark, insect wings and mushrooms she needed. As she walked a gentle drizzle began, although the sun had not yet set behind the grey clouds. Mikaela stopped and, leaving the basket in the grass, spread her arms, enjoying the rain. Then she turned and danced among the flowers, for no particular reason, just for the pleasure of it.
And as she made one last turn, she saw someone in front of her.
“Hello,” said the cleric, and her voice sounded like birdsong.

Sonrió, no estaba mal.
No sería correcto.
