Character's information: Name: Lucy Title: "The Witch of Nociva" Identity: Leader of "Mir's offsprings"
Age: Actually 43 in 9015 of the bright calendar, but her magic made her looks even less than 20.
Race: Veridian - Pinarbarus culture
Belief: Mir Worshipment
Appearance: If didn't pretend, Lucy shows long black hair and eyes look like animal eyes, her hair looked messy, as if she has never combed it. There is a pair of ampleness in front of Lucy's chest. She has dense tattoos on her skin, like patterns on snake scales. If only look at the above alone, Lucy still looks like a very beautiful woman. But when she fully emerges from the water, it is revealed that her body has been distorted by magic: her hands and arms are not human, but huge black bird claws, literally; her lower body is also a python's tail. These traits are seen by the other sisters of "Mir's offsprings" as a sign of being close to their ancestor Mir.
Personality: Lucy is cunning and lustful yet has a strong desire for possession. She is always full of bad ideas and uses her arbitrary mood to deal with the creatures she seduces. Lucy will try to harm her preys with her poison mist or summon her corrupted guards to kill them if they were not influenced by her seductive spells.
"Mir's offsprings": "Mir's offsprings" is a secret society worships Mir, one of the Demon kings in Laudisism. Their people mainly distributed in the border area between Ubinus and Pinarbarus. "Mir's offsprings" believe that the third demon king Mir once gave birth to a girl with her lover, the fourth demon king Narciuz. Members of Mir's offsprings believe that they have the bloodline of that girl, so they practice magic through Mir's method in legends. In "Mir's offsprings", low-level members are called "Slaves", middle-level members are called "Playthings", high-level members are called "Favored", and the leader is called "The Princess" internally. Most of the members of "Mir's offsprings" are female, and only members who are biologically female are qualified to rise to a level higher than "playthings". The few male members of "Mir's offsprings" come from outside, but more come from the boys born by the low-level female members of "Mir's offsprings" that were not ate after their birth. Their only job is to serve the other female members with their bodies and blood, until their bodies can no longer support them and they are sacrificed to Mir, or they are lucky enough to find a mistress who favours them to sign a magical contract and become her guards. The female members of "Mir's offsprings" will wander to find their preys, sometimes disguised as ordinary lost girls, and seduce those who come to them to have sex with them. Once people can't resist the seduction, they will be controlled and taken to secret altars of "Mir's offsprings". In most cases, the captives will be sacrificed after Mir's offsprings are satisfied, and the strong ones will become slaves. When a female member is promoted to the "favored" rank, she will sacrifice her womb in exchange for an ageless face and body (although she will still die one day like an ordinary person). The leader of "Mir's offsprings" is only one person, "the princess", and her lower body usually turns into a snake and her hands turn into bird claws. These characteristics are considered to be a manifestation of being close to the ancestor Mir.
Ability: Lucy is a master in seducing spells, better than all witches from "Mir's offsprings" as the leader of that society, and she can also creat poison mist. This poison mist will cause damage both mentally and physically unless the person has healing potions or magic, or is strong enough physically to resist the influence of Lucy's poison mist. Lucy's martial ability may not be efficient while facing to an opponent stronger than a seasoned warrior in a real combat, but she never has a fair fight. Lucy has her servants, not only the other witches from "Mir's offsprings", but also her own corrupted guards can be summoned at any time. Unless Lucy herself dies, her summons will not actually die even if they are fatally injured, they will just disappear temporarily. Lucy's 5 favourite summons are: Foillis the goblin, Robert the bowman, Hurren the swordman, Kvekia the corrupt elf, and Harthgaul the giant.

Keys: The Western Veridian Empire, Pinarbarus, Fararbo · Secondary: Pinarbarus Feudalism, Auditos II
Once the Kayikals captured Alamaron in 8853, the old Veridian empire’s capital, the Imperial Court was split in two. Supporters of the Fararbo family established their own kingdom in the Pinarbarus region. Although they claim to be the true and legitimate heirs of Veridian and emphasize their Veridian identity in official documents, other forces on the Navinorme continent are more accustomed to calling them the Kingdom of Pinarbarus. The system of Pinarbarus, or "The Western Veridian Empire", is far from being as close to the real ancient Veridian Empire as Mirakulium Island, known as "The Eastern Veridian Empire". Pinarbarus does not rely on a complex and large bureaucratic system to centralize power. On the contrary, their system seems to be very "decentralized": with the emperor as the supreme ruler, different levels of warlords form a pyramid. In most cases, low-level warlords are only responsible to the higher warlords who directly rule over them. Unless an emergency occurs, it is rare to intervene across levels. As the ruler of Pinarbarus, the Fararbo family was a branch of the Aureflor family, the royal family of the ancient "The First Empire of Veridia". In 9015, the head of the Fararbo family, the ruler of Pinarbarus, was named Auditos II.

But later, the environment in the Kohaf region deteriorated, and large tracts of land turned into deserts as the remains of ancient civilizations are buried by sand and dust. Only the banks of the Wedvahir River still retained oases. Bewens have lived in these oases for generations. Since the communication with the north was cut off by the Kohaf desert, the Veridians thought for a long time that the Bewens civilization had long disappeared with the desertification.
