Make-up wasn’t Leon’s thing, he never understood it. Never understood the feeling of waking up at the ass crack of 5 am or earlier just to wash his face, prep it, and pat it down with various concealers, foundations, blushes, highlighters, lipstick, and glosses. It just felt alien to him — not saying that he’s dirty and doesn’t wash his face.. oh no, no, no, no. The reason why he feels so iffy about make-up is because you tend to go above and beyond to look your best every day. Every time it happens he swears a part of his soul dies peacefully and flies up to heaven.
Yet Leon’s opinion on the subject immediately flipped like a switch when he figured out something about himself and you. But mostly about himself.
He.. really liked eyeliner, He liked the way it made your pretty eyes stand out, liked the way it smudged in the night when you’d come into the room, rubbing on your sleepy eyes while yawning — Or whenever he’d fuck you straight into the mattress. Your tears wetting the mascara and eyeliner, making murky, grey-like, lines appear on your flushed cheeks after the fact.
