Latios looked over at his sister, a quiet rage burning in his eyes.
“It’s a research facility. One owned by Team Rocket,” he growled.
Latias’ eyes went wide.
“I presume they want to experiment on us somehow. The scientist in charge walked out right before you woke up,” explained Latios. “We’ve got to find a way out before he comes back.”
“H-how?” Latias stuttered.
Latios didn’t answer. He hovered slowly around the cage, examining the glass. “I bet I could break this,” he said, casting a glance at his sister.
Latios felt panic begin to creep into his body. The glass cage wasn’t very large, and the Pokémon hated small spaces. He tried to reach out to Latias with his mind, but there was only silence.
Latios hovered idly through the forest. It was early in the morning, and his sister was still asleep. Somewhere, a Pidgey sang brightly, a herald of dawn. Latios smiled at the thought, casting his eyes to the skies above. There was a streak of gold across it; another sign of the impending sunrise. It was beautiful, and it put the Pokémon’s mind at ease.Latias & Latios
