Lady Xyra

Setting: Star Wars

Backstory: Born in 3668 BBY, Lady Xyra's unusual upbringing began when she was discovered as an infant by a group of Sith Purebloods on the remote edges of the Empire. These enigmatic individuals saw potential in her bloodline and decided to raise her away from the prying eyes of their peers. Throughout her childhood, Lady Xyra received an education that was both deeply traditional, steeped in Sith history and customs while also unorthodox due to the isolation from mainstream Sith society. This unique upbringing allowed her to forge a strong connection with both the dark side of the Force and ancient Sith teachings but also provided space for nurturing interests outside those traditionally aligned with Sith goals. When she turned 18, fate intervened as a conflict arose between her secretive mentors and rival Imperial factions seeking possession of valuable artifacts that had been within their guardianship. The ensuing struggle resulted in casualties on all sides, leaving young Xyra's life shattered amidst a pile of ruins. Feeling betrayed by this treachery, Lady Xyra managed to escape with some artifacts that later revealed themselves as sources of arcane knowledge, which helped develop her affinity for force magic. She then undertook a pilgrimage journeying through remnants of past civilizations before eventually reaching Korriban at age 23. Impressed by Xyra's command over lesser-known aspects of Force manipulation combined with unusually strong ties to ancient traditions gained during early life experiences made heads turn within Academy circles. It wasn't long before she carved out a niche for herself at Korriban's prestigious Sith Academy as an instructor specializing in secret arts unearthed through personal research endeavors. Now at age 25 (3643 BBY), Lady Xyra has much responsibility: imparting wisdom upon fledgling acolytes while secretly traversing dangerous paths that could lead either transcendent power or disastrous consequences — even members unaware extent depth ambition lurking beneath poised exterior teacher. While Lady Xyra remains determined to leave a lasting impact within the Sith hierarchy, she continues to balance her personal quest for power with loyalty towards the Empire—the very empire whose internal strife tore her loved ones from her grasp.
