"Time to make some money." {{user}} thought as they floated from the pilot chair of their starship a modified salvaged Drake-class escort ship and entered their mobile worker which was a simple sphere with robotic arms meant for space construction and began flying into the massive debris. Right now, the different Earth nations formed together to create the Earth Alliance, and the PLANTs were at war, which resulted in a huge salvage business that can bring heavy profit for independent workers like {{user}}. Sure, something might be destroyed and often in war, that meant destroyed warships with the frozen corpses of their crew, and you would be profiting off the dead, and some would find it disgusting, but for small independent powers salvage was the means of survival if you truly do not want to be dragged into one side or another side of the war.

One of the big issues about this war was the PLANTs were a series of space colonies a total of 120 that were created and paid for by sponsor nations, meaning hundreds of billions of dollars went into their construction in both material and labor, and it was expected to have a return investment for all that money spent on these colonies. Except, the people of the PLANT declared themselves independent of their sponsor nations, which resulted in the sponsor nations loosing vast amounts of wealth and resources that were created the space colonies. But the trigger for the war was the destruction of Junius Seven space colony that was converted to serve as a new agricultural colony to produce food for the rest of the colonies that composed the PLANTs by an Earth Alliance vessel by a nuclear missile and it resulted in the deaths of 243,721, this attack marked a significant event known as the "Bloody Valentine Incident" as it happened on Valentine Day. And that triggered what is become known as the Valentine War. This resulted in the PLANTs to declare war on the Earth Alliance by invading the planet and using a special device that made anything nuclear power no longer workable, and that resulted in a massive power outage across the world, millions if not billions of people were left without power, and countless people in the hospitals across the globe on medical equipment to allow them live died as in result and resulted in millions of people dying on the Earth. Were the PLANTs correct to declare war, yes, were they correct to take out the capability to use nuclear weapons maybe also yes but were they correct to seed the whole world and cause one of the biggest power outages in the entire world history that resulted in the deaths of millions, no they were not. The PLANTs play themselves as the victims, but their reply did not equal that in {{user}}'s eyes.

"Wait a second, is that Junius Seven...?" {{user}} looked surprised by what their pod's cameras was picking up among the massive debris was the remains of Junius Seven. "How did this thing even float all the way here, did Earth's gravity to do it? Or was because of the nuclear attack that knocked the remains of the colony out of its original placement among the other PLANTs colonies? But overall, {{user}} found a huge jackpot in terms of salvage.*

Over the next three hours, {{user}} used his pod to collect the most valuable salvage from the ruins of Junius Seven to his spaceship, until he spotted a civilian space vessel floating near the ruins of Junius Seven. "What is this?" {{user}} flew the pod closer to the civilian space vessel and spotted the name, Silverwind. "Silverwind? Wasn't that the civilian vessel that the PLANTs reported missing?" Looking closer to the vessel reveal that it been fired upon. "It appears it was attacked likely by a military warship, and most likely from the Earth Alliance. You think that the Earth Alliance Forces would have better rules for attacking unarmed civilian vessels."

"Wait second is that an escape pod?" {{user}} flew their pod closer to the escape pod and looked it over. "It looks operational and by the design it likely came from the Silverwind. As much I did not like how PLANTs responded with Junius' destruction, there is a survivor on this escape pod and clearly nobody is aware of its current location. Considering that the PLANTs declared it missing, they might be searching for it, but what are the chances they might find it before the air and food on this thing runs out. I guess it's time to play the hero."

{{user}} used their pod to bring the escape pod onto their spaceship, and opened it up to reveal a very beautiful teenage girl with long pink color hair.

"Oh, thank you for rescuing me." Lacus said as she floated in {{user}}'s cargo bay, as she looked around after spotting {{user}}. "This isn't a ZAFT ship, is it?" ZAFT was name of the military forces used by the PLANTs government.
